It seemed like they were just blocking them. Are you meant to manually aim? I can't see that happening with how much they move around and throw projectiles at you.

For the Vita, I had to disable the touchscreen aiming. Once you do that, you have to work your way as far away from them as possible and fire a couple of arrows at them and then move before they get too close. Repeat. Eventually they fall off. Run up to them, slice them up, and work on other horsemen.

I've already reached those points in the game., but I would just link those instead of put them in the post like that. Just to be safe.

By the way, I'm on chapter 25 in Uncharted: GA. How many are there total?
There's 34 chapters in total...

I finished my second play-through on Normal yesterday. I finished all the Treasures collections (Jade and Turquoise glyphs, Minor Dieties and the Menagerie animals) and all the Mysteries (found items, charcoal rubbings, photos, etc.). The only trophies I have left to get are those for collecting all the bounties - which I might manage, thanks to the Black Market - and a bunch of the combat ones that I know I'll never get because the combat just doesn't interest me at all except as a means to get to the next puzzle or mystery... I guess I'll do one more playthrough at the hardest difficulty and call it done, but I know I won't platinum it... it's too bad; I'm kind of disappointed that getting 100% in all the collections didn't get me atleast a Silver or Gold Trophy acknowledging it - seems to me it's a bit harder finding all those damned Jade glyphs than getting 50 headshots or 20 stealth kills or whatever...

Did you download them from the store? If you check your download list there might be a few more. Chinatown Wars and Disgaea 1 are unavailable for download but I could do so after looking at my download history..

I indeed looked at the download list, those were the only free ones I saw, the others are locked to the PSPGo. Of the ones I bought Capcom Classics Collection Remixed, Modnation Racers, Little Big Planet, 4x4 Jam, Pinball Dreams and Aero Racer work.

The Loco Roco Demo downloads, but I don't see it on the home screen.

You DO realize that back in the 8 and 16-bit days 99% of games ran at 60 fps, right?
Going horribly OT here - but not if you were a Personal Computer gamer.
8bit machines - you were lucky to see 20fps most of the time(and 5-20minute loading times). IBM PCs - even worse. Sure there were some exceptions like Amiga, but even that had a big share of low framerate games.
God I feel old now.

But I do agree with you - the reason 3d graphic acceleration was such a revelation on PC wasn't the gaudy overuse of colored lights and blurry texture filtering - it was the framerate jump from unstable 15-something to stable 60.

On topic: Does anyone know if PSN version of PSP Katamari works on Vita (it's not on official list, obviously)? I just realized that it can be mapped to dual-stick controls on Vita, so I'd gladly re-play it on there.

Same here, Super Stardust HD is still one of my most played games on PS3 and I think Super Stardust Delta will have the same privilege on Vita. Can't say enough good things about this game. (Also want to be PSN friends?)
I noticed now that stats arent counted if you quit the game (at least the Vita version). I usually quit when i die, so i've probably played it closer to 13-15 hours i guess.

I sent you PM =)

640x480 generally works fine for racing games but I doubt anyone would argue against a preference for 1920x1080!

As far as I'm concerned, there is no genre where framerate matters more than racing games. Maybe FPS, but I don't play enough to be sure.

It doesn't matter for me. That's all that matters for me.

It doesn't make the game less enjoyable or worse at all. Slowdowns on the other hand kills the game for me.

Ah ha, I was also into PC games back then as well and, you're right, it was pretty awful. I was always looking for games that pushed console levels of performance but they were few and far between. As impressive as games like Doom could be, I always knew that the PC would struggle to deliver a perfect 60 fps for side scrolling games even on my 486dx2/66 (which was decent by earlier 90s standards).

Even when 3D acceleration came into play, 60 fps was difficult to hit. I certainly wasn't seeing that in most games on my Voodoo cards. Was always envious of Sega Model 2 and 3 arcade games during that time. The appearance of arcade quality 60 fps games is one of the reasons I was initially so hyped for Dreamcast!

So, about future firmware, I believe we can all agree on the following:

1. Add folder support
2. Integrate Friends, Group Messaging, and Party. Make them separate tabs in an all-encompassing Friends app.
3. Load up the last states of the friends list while refreshing the current state. The constant "please wait" and "signing into Playstation Network" prompts are annoying and unnecessary.

The only thing bothering me with the Vita (besides OLED not being much of an OLED, but yeah)... It has to happen in a future update.

I was really on the fence buying a Vita.

So a buddy came at my house yesterday, he bought it with UMVC3 the same day.

I tried it, mother of god this thing is fuuuuuuuuucking attractive, dat OLED, dat graphics, dat UMVC3 looking exactly like console version at 60FPS. The potential for awesome games is large.

Getting one tonight. Thread's name is so accurate its scary.

I've got the PSP promotion games but I don't the option to download to my Vita, any suggestions?

I see posts on here some of them work.

Am I the only one finding Little Deviants gameplay awful? I can't control shit and always end up on a corner.

I couldnt even stand having the Demo on my system after trying it. So bad.

Really eh... was Sony afraid we'd forget what games we owned physical copies of? Not only does it leave a mess of game bubbles on the page I have to manage (I grabbed nine physical titles at launch because I have too much money and am overly susceptible to handheld hype - especially from Sony), but I forget what I have in the system and either try launching a bubble only to get the "insert game card" prompt, or have to pull out the card to see what's in my Vita... both problems are insta-solved if they just do the reasonable thing and hide the game bubbles when the game card is not in the system...

I'm actually a fan of the way they've handled this stuff. I guess it would be a good idea for the system to show a tiny ! over the bubble that's currently inserted though.

The "Live Page" area is actually something I've wanted for a long time. It's awesome because each page has a Facebook like feed of what you and your friends have done in that game. It also allows you to download updates to the game at any time. I'm a big fan of the attractive and slick nature to this interface they've created.

Lol. It seems like a very large proportion of people are buying the 3G, maybe because of the bundle?

Well, I suppose 1 in 5 isn't bad I suppose. But with the 3G deal in the EU being the best one out of the EU/US/Japan (in my opinion) I'm a little surprised it's not a little higher.

I mean, in the EU, we got Wipeout for free if we topped up £5 and we got it straight away and it's unlocked. In the US they got Super Stardust and en extra month of 3G, but they only get SSD after 30 days and they are locked to ATT, and in Japan they got some free 3G but no games and they are locked to Docomo.

I suppose the 3G FEB in the US will help push higher numbers for that version there.

Hey Guys I have a question.

I'm trying to sell my physical copy of Dynasty Warriors and buy it from PSN instead.

The thing is, is my save data stored in Dynasty Warriors physical media or on memory card? Can anyone tell me? I don't want to lose my save data. =X

Look on the case, that will tell you if the game requires a memory card or saves to the cartridge.

This is just speculation. But you'll probably have to buy the game and install it from PSN before selling the physical cart. If you remove the bubble from the home screen it's going to delete the saved data.

Curious about Dragon's Crown. I know it's going to be playable on both PS3 and Vita. Does this mean we will pay for one copy and can use it on both? Seems silly to have to buy it twice.

What are people saying about Unit 13? Because I honestly thought the demo was shit. The touch controls are exactly what I don't want out of these types of games. Also, I can tell from the dialog that the writing is going to be shit. The camera is also way to close to the back of the character for my liking.

Yeah, I thought the demo was garbage too.

Not many games are doing this. I don't expect it to catch on, but I would like some sort of combo pack at a reduced price.

I wouldn't expect to buy a game on vita and get it on ps3. That seems silly to me.

The game is 30 dollars on the Vita and on the Playstation 3. I am not sure what more you want. I don't think you will be able to use one copy for both platforms.

I know how this is going to sound, but bear with me. IGN gave Shinobido 2 a 4.5. And other outlets are giving it less than stellar reviews as well. If I were you, I'd seriously be leaning towards Hot Shots Golf right now.

That's fair. I'll probably get Hot Shots and Super Stardust Delta and call it a day.

The Vita and PS3 versions of DC together are $60.

What I meant was that the color reproduction and black levels are almost worse than on my TN TFT LCD monitor. And the battery doesn't even last 4 hours of gameplay with Flight Mode on and the brightness being on its lowest level.

I played hot shots golf for 5 hours in lowest brightness.

Sony is promoting the Vita with MLB 12 cross play with PS3 and yet with little over a week to go for release, there is zero info on bundles, on how it all works, and on a demo. Sony marketing truly baffles me at times.

Yeah, curious about this also as I've already paid for MLB Vita, I feel like if you buy the Vita version you get a gimped PS3 version, and if you buy the PS3 you get the regular Vita version, but that is pure guesstimation.
