I hope we don't get any of those stupid videos where developers talk about how excited they are. Show actual games being made or gtfo.

I find their words so shallow when they haven't even committed to making a game yet.

It's like "This system is so awesome but I'm still not developing anything for it, not even a port"

Jony Ive is like Molyneux except he actually backs up what he says. Don't think Nintendo has anyone like that who can speak elegantly on a product.

werdd, it's an annoying façade that doesn't please anyone.

I feel like the Wii U has been open to developers long enough that there won't be any of those developer videos. It will look silly to show a ton of 3rd party games that are actually in development only to follow that with developers talking about the possibilities of the console. It made sense last E3 with how early things were, it won't make sense this E3.

What's happening in a month?

I think that would be enough time for everyone to cool down a bit, but then again, maybe not. Anyway, Capcom's Captivate event is usually held in either April or May. We may get lucky and hear about some early Wii U game announcements like a port of RE 6 or something.

I'd like to know when the new fiscal year is beginning. I have a feeling that Nintendo will make a spring conference around the new fiscal year to bring some Wii U infos. I really don't think Nintendo will gave all the infos at E3. The big bombs are at E3 but maybe some details about Nintendo Network.

They'll have their investor's meeting sometime next month, and perhaps another ND around then.

Nintendo fans should go into hibernation for a month.

I'm pretty much doing that, but in a more lucrative manner.. I've signed-up for so much overtime at work that I don't always have time to think about how much I want the U.

(and OP suggestion for the new thread: a schedule of events between now and E3?)

Pokemon MMO for launch please.

Part of me thinks the acquisition of Monolith may have been to bolster their in house expertise for something like that. They've already helped on Zelda, and Xenoblade is ridiculous in scope... they have the know how to make a home console Pokemon work. Having said that, its kind of THE handheld thing, and its Game Freak's baby...

Last Investors Meeting was the best thing in ages with all that NiN information.

On plus side Nintendo will probably have another big meeting in April for the Fiscal year ending march 31st. Could see that actually being the point they start to talk heavier on the Wii U as they have to say last year sucked but here is whats gonna make things suck less

Nah, the build up is half the fun. In May we will hear some rumblings/leaks and (hopefully) get a look at a third party game (Red Steel-style).

Nintendo is pretty much the best company in the industry at hiding information. We won't learn anything about Wii U until it is said by Nintendo.

I might have a little nerd party and stay up all night watching the conference live whilst stuffing myself with cheesy nachos and guacamole.

Time zone differences ass-raped you too? xD

I recall sitting in bed every year with my laptop burning my chest staring at a glowing screen (as I am now lol) as I wait until it's all over around 5am UK time. This tradition has been going on since 2004?

What E3 did Nintendo first livestream their press conference? Pretty sure I never missed one.

I'm not sure? Maybe 2003? I remember my mother telling me to keep it down when Twilight Princess was first shown.

Haha, me too. Except I'm down here in AU.

I think many a Nintendo a fan is wide eyed at that point every year. I wonder what the collected viewing ratings are for all the main hosted streams? If the Nintendo Direct got more than 50k I can imagine e3 getting at least 200/300k live viewers? More?
