The guide to Republic City is so awesome. It's basically everything you wanted to know about the world of Avatar without having to watch the first series.

The guide is pretty great and this Tharrlok guy looks like a sleaze ball already.

And he also looks like a character Steven Blum could voice also :p



As for the politics now its pretty messed up non benders has no representatives on the council (seeing even the Water Tribe has 2 due to their different cultures) so I guess that's what Amon is there for now, lulz

I'm just rewatching the first Korra episode and I noticed the guy in the yellow/orange clothes that was there when they were unloading the ship, was also there in the crowd when Korra met the Equalist guy.

And just now she ran past by him when escaping from the metalbenders ^^

Edit: There he was again, but wearing a different hat. Strange ^^

Have always been fascinated by the whole "ship"war thing. Thought this was pretty funny.

Also loved the Iroh in the second strip, so I made a avatar out of him, hopefully nobody will mind. :)

The part on the Republic City council is interesting.
I thought the council would be made up of a bender of each element. Instead it has a representative from each of the other nations. How strange. It would be like New York city being run by the UN. Though I suppose since the United Republic of Nations was founded a compromise between the Fire Nation and Earth Kingdom, I guess it sort of makes sense.

You should be able to create a free account without a credit card. First logout of your regular account on itunes,change the itunes store region to US, then head to the itunes store and try to download a free app. It will then tell you to create an account and should forward you to the account creation page. Where it tells you to select a credit card you should see a "none" option. Follow the rest of the steps with a fake address, etc. Viola, free US itunes account.

To download the free episodes of Korra in 1080p, head to the itunes preferences and under "Store" you will find the option to switch to 1080p.

The first two episodes were so good, that now i want to watch the third one of this more than the third one of GoT (which is absurd, since i followed the last series very casually, although i saw all of the episodes).

Thanks for the help, unfortunately I already tried this one and apple seems to have gotten rid of this. "None" isn't available anymore. Apparently the only way for me now is to buy an US prepaid card. I'll wait a bit to see if it show up on othe iTunes stores as well.

Just did it in Canada. You just go to Create Apple ID instead of adding your billing info. Dunno how it works in other countries.
