Ha! I suggested a few hours ago that we might need to have a fast thread and a slow thread simultaneously during the E3 N-conf to cater to both kinds of GAFfer. Truly, we are a nutty bunch.
On the one hand, there is no shame to be had. On the other, there's no sense of importance to be had, either.

Yay, I managed to start a garden, S-rank a group project for class, plan costuming for an upcoming Steampunk event and a Burn, start mathing out a geodesic dome for climbing, and keeping my work's 48 core servers in line while somehow posting like a madperson.
All I had to sacrifice was sleep and sex. Hrm, this doesn't sound so great in retrospect.

Anything fluid can stream. Don't need to be liquid to have fluid properties. Sand can stream.
I guess news comes clumped together in small particles.

Wow it hasn't even been a month since this threads inception and it is almost at 20K posts. Nearly 1/8th of all the posts have been by 2 posters. The fifth version of the thread probably won't last until E3
I almost missed this thread completely, only 20 posts, it was to close yet also to far from E3 for me to keep my spirits up. Now that we are about ready for a new thread on top of E3 being only a month away, I'm officially re-hyped! I Can't wait till I crash and burn into the sun.

Oh god, not again.
I'm sure I remember the months leading up to the Wii release, where there were supposed quotes from Nintendo insiders relating to a section of the console that hadn't been covered/discussed and that there was some big secret that had yet to be revealed.
This "secret" compartment lead to insane speculation such as the console having some sort of projector in it (at least on the forums I was reading at the time anyway).
Turns out it was the SD card slot :/

Oh yeah, don't get too hyped. It's almost guaranteed it will be something underwhelming. Maybe a 'neat' feature but I doubt it will be anything that blows out minds.
There must be a Fire Emblem on Wiiwoo, and Iwata must be a character in it. As a CEO class character, his weapon would be a money sack. He could summon ninjas for his special ability. His critical would have him flipping his hair which would turn the enemy to dust. It would be glorious.

Yes. There must be. FE is now the most played game on my 3DS. I really hope the seemingly reignited interest in the series here leads to more prominent/high-budget console titles.

I have to wonder, though, is there enough demand for a high-budget entry on a console? Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn were both excellent, but didn't seem to sell as well as the handheld entries did if I'm not mistaken.
I just got sprung with the announcement of a surprise holiday the weekend just before E3. Coming back on the Monday so I might even miss the first bit. （ ´ー｀）

You might find that the closer we get to E3 the less this thread is needed.
News sometimes has the opposite effect as new threads get created for new news, and people post in those for a little while. That's what happened with the Rayman vid.

Sooo THQ has no booth at E3 this year. Given they will still be showing stuff off at E3, I'd bank on something being shown at one (if not more) of the big three conferences. Homefront 2 at Nintendo's is my guess.
