The Amiga Brotherhood
What, no love for Super Stardust? I am dissapoint :(

I arrived at the fourth boss(of five) at my first playthrough at normal(with 5 unused bombs and missing 1 life bonus appeared just after the third boss' defeat)... Too short and easy.

Super Stardust Delta is great, but Mutant Blobs Attack just has so much charm and appeal. They really mastered the bite sized portable gaming experience with leaderboards and such.

I haven't touched the arcade mode because of endless mode :p

Mutant Blobs was just the right price, length, difficulty, ect. It was really a high point of the launch for me.

Yeah, it was exactly the type of handheld experience I want. Not so involved that I will sit there for hours. The controls and game-play were very solid. Nice to get that feel in a game after playing poorly controlled smartphone games.

Graphics were sharp, humor and music were good. It was cheap. All around a great handheld game.

Crap... got addicted to P3P on Vita. >_<
I'm supposed to be working damn it.

Are the other PSP Persona games as good as the third one ?

No one answered my question, so I bought Persona 2 for my Vita this morning anyway. ^_^

Mutant Blob is my top recommendation too considering price, difficulty, length and entertainment value.

My colleague bought a Vita last week after seeing mine. But Sony, dude, you have to review your credit card registration process. He spent hours trying to buy a game from PSN on the Vita but failed.

He was trying to add more funds to his PSN account via the website, and it kept rejecting him. He was able to add $10 bucks, and then failed on the second time repeatedly when he tried to add $5 more.

Is your security check too strict now ? He also complained that the webpage kept changing his address field to an invalid value (e.g., "San Francisco" got truncated to "San"). He hasn't bought from the PSN before, so this is his first time.

I told him to try adding funds from XMB instead.

I am playing Portal 2 now on PC after the new DLC, building new maps and testing them. I wish Valve releases Steam and Portal 2 on the Vita. The console is well suited for this game: power, touch screen to launch portals and build maps, gyro for manipulating the companion cube etc...

Pie and Beans

Look for me on the local news, I'll be the guy arrested for trying to burn down a Nintendo exec's house.
I am beginning to forget I own a Vita. E3 is going to have to be astounding. I just dont understand why Sony thought this period of barely anything and trapping the games best title all the way into June would accomplish.

Hell even activating the PS1 capabilities right now would at least bring a rush of something in. What are they doing all day... no apps like Youtube but stuff like an Alarm Clock with trophies? whyyyyyyy.

They added Skype, besides the Doodling app. I think the Alarm clock app is only released in Japan right ?

YouTube and Hulu Plus would be greatly appreciated here !

PvZ was free for PS+ members last September. ^_^
That's how I got it.

15 for Vita is indeed a tad expensive. You can wait for a discount (although I bought it anyway).
I believe PvZ iPad is $7.

Is the Clock app any good ? I could use my Vita as a night stand. Last thing I do every day is to play Persona 3 in bed. XD

I'm really starting to wish you could play your audio files during PSP games. Grinding my way through Monster Hunter begs for the ability to play Stern.

posted this in the other thread, but i'll post it here aswell just in case, has anyone here played Valhalla Knights 2 Battle Stance? I was looking up information for it earlier, and apprently it's an open world RPG? I'm been wanting some kind of open world RPG to play on Vita, but so far I had not seen anything. Apprently though Valhalla Knights 2 is supposed to be pretty good from some reviews i've seen.

I've recently become addicted to endless mode in Super Stardust. I can't stop playing it. I think I spent my entire hour long bus ride home yesterday playing it.

So far, I've only managed to get a score of 11 million. It was a glorious run, that's for sure. It was heartbreaking when I died!

I know that feel. Reached 9 million and have been chasing that score since. I'm almost reluctant to start up SSD because I know that I'm likely to keep telling myself "just one more try!" D:

So at this point...

How would you rank the vita with it's different parts?
For me:

Hardware: A
Service (psn, UI, near, psp bc etc): D+
Vita games that you bought: B+
PSP games on vita (that work):B (would be A if stuff were priced a bit lower overall).

Damn, looking through the developers tweets, it looks like Retro City Rampage ain't coming no more this month. I hope it comes out at least 2 weeks before/after Gravity Daze, because I want to spend a lot of time with those 2 games alone.

gave the rayman demo a shot. i see what everyone is saying about how great it looks on the vita. i can't seem to get into the game play though. i'll probably keep it sealed and swap it for resistance when that comes out.

thanks again for the suggestions gaf!

So I don't have a single Vita title yet and I probably won't have one until Gravity Daze.

But so far I've been playing Valkyria Chronicles II and Gods Eater Burst. Two pretty solid PSP titles IMO. I've been switching between the two and I have SMT Persona waiting, but I'm also pretty curious about The 3rd Birthday.

What are your thoughts The 3rd Birthday ? Is it worth picking up? I generally like Shooters with RPG elements and this looks like it might be fun.

That would be a terrible decision. Just absolutely terrible.

story is pretty terrible. like painfully terrible.

Otherwise it's relatively solid as a shooter.

Uh, so buy one? There are plenty of great ones...

I haven't been able to really commit tn any and right now I'm just playing some PSP titles I missed out on.

Ahh damn it. Terrible story - that's a bummer. I'll put it to the side for now then. Atleast its a solid shooter; possibly pick it up in the future. Thanks

It not that bad if you played the previous game on PS1 ya it's kinda bad but if your new it won't bother you as much

I haven't bought any retail releases yet either. I've been waiting for some price drops for stuff like Uncharted and Shinobido but nothing goods come along yet.

I know it's supposed to be bad, but I'm DESPERATELY waiting on a Shinobido price drop. Really wanna play the full game for some reason.
