Either way, I'm not sure I take anyone's word for anything with regards to GTAV and Wii U. They tried GTA on Nintendo systems, twice, with Grand Theft Auto Advance and Chinatown Wars - and apparently, at least the latter of those did really poorly, didn't it?
It's most likely not what you'd expect to begin with.

I think it would be wrong to compare the portable titles to a full fledged major GTA game. You don't think the best looking console version of the next real GTA would at least be worth trying for Rockstar? Honestly I would be shocked if its not on the Wii U, especially considering Nintendo's desperation to recapture the core gamer. I would think this is THE game they're trying to get on the Wii U.

Chinatown Wars DS sold the best of that game, but it was still shitty compared to 3D GTAs.
I think it's more of a rejection of 2D GTAs than GTAs on Nintendo systems.

It did rather poorly. The team started another DS title, but as LA Noire was a trainwreck, they helped on that one.

It's important and the first real confirmation of it. But as EC said, i need to talk with moderators to see if i can make a thread dedicated to this or not, because i wasn't able to legitimate totally this info. Maybe i'll post it in the 6th thread then, later this week.
