18 digitalVita games and 10 PSP games on my card now. Only physical game I have is Fifa and that's just to keep the contacts 100%. Dreading when PS1 is enabled because thats like another 20 games to worry about. This thing comes with me everywhere and I am thoroughly enjoying myself.

Well damn. I'm enjoying myself, and sometimes I wish I had like 64 GB so I could just download all of my games and have them handy whenever. Congrats to you. I love my vita too =D

I was also turned off by the demo. Seemed horribly generic to me. How does the full game differ?

It is kind of generic but damn if it's not fun. Can't comment on online co-op since I dont have an online pass, but covert, direct action and daily missions are kind of fun. The daily mission from today had a bunch of people with rocket launchers so if you got caught explosions everywhere so it was kind of cool. Mostly the same levels but going through them different ways, different directions, different enemy patterns and extra things like cameras, explosives, poison gas and laser trip wires.

Hmmm.. might give it a go when the price drops. Cheers

They should try to bring the PSP room back to the vita to try it out again

I'd rather they fix Home first. Home has pretty amazing backend services. But the art direction is way too ugly and heavy weight. PSP Room has better art and seems more light weight.

After they fixed Home, I don't mind they bring it to PSP and Vita or even iOS.

30 hours in God Eater Burst and finally nearing completion of orginal God Eater (if my google skills are good diificulty 6 is end of orginal and 7-10 are burst addition ? )

Really amazing game - now i want Ragnarok and Soul Sacrifice even more :)

Going to try Monster Hunter?

Lame decision IMO, it should get the 3DS version that supposedly connects with the console version, the PS3 and Vita are perfectly capable of if.
I enjoyed LoS but I wouldn't want to play it on the Vita when it will look and run better on the PS3.

I think I'll buy most of those games (HD games ports) on Vita, instead of PS3. For starters, because they will be cheaper (here the PS3 games are 60 to 70€, but Vita games are 40-50€), and also because I realised that it's much easier for me to finish a game if it's in a portable than if I have to force to play on the PS3 that is in the living room, with the only TV of the house.

Me too... that's a strange situation...

It's not just a patch, It's a DLC and a tweak to the control scheme. You can play it without downloading the update if you want or play the game while you download the patch

This PS3/Vita games seems to be the strategy for Sony.. It's so confusing cause nobody really knows (apart from our own liking) if that's what people want or not.

Weirdly sometimes i feel like a port of an old console game, (even from some month ago) can be perceived as something more classy and hype than a simple multi release, where most of the vita owners will buy the game for PS3 anyway.

We were discussing for some games, how they could be appreciated as Vita games, even when released on PS3 in the same time, but i don't think that's true for this type of huge game ala 3D Castlevania, Assasin's creed or whatever. Those ones are precisely the one Vita owners will want to play on their home console...

There is the "continue to play your game in the toilets" thing but i don't really like that. it makes the vita looks like an accessory and not a real particular console.

Having a decent pc and a ps3, i do pretty much just pick the version of a game that is the "best". Portability is irrelevant for the most part for me. It is a neat option though, but if that comes at the compromise of framerate or resolution or controls or w/e, than nah.

I got virtua tennis 4 on vita because of no noticeable compromises besides the higher sticker price (as of now). Most played game on the system.

I'd prefer to play all my PS3 games on PSV except for fightning games which need arcade stick ;)

And i think this is different when, like Virtua tennis, the game has been released way before on other consoles. Cause it doesn't really compete directly and there is a lltp or rediscovering appeal to it.

I might be in the minority but Vita getting console games is exactly what I have wanted since the Vita was announced. The Vita's sleep function helps with the whole pick up and play thing. It is how I got through Uncharted, Ninja Gaiden and a slew of other console games on Vita. I don't want the whole fifteen minute experience that people seem to expect from mobile gaming. If the Vita was headed in that direction, I would have stuck with consoles.

Same here. I actually prefer exclusives for handhelds, that way I'm not tempted by other versions.

Just got back from Walmart. They had Resistance behind the glass. Didn't expect it this week and don't have the funds to get it. Bedford,OH location.

I'm in your boat. I'm a console gamer that wants console experiences. Sony announcing Resistance, Uncharted, and Killzone games sold me on the Vita the moment it was unveiled.

I also prefer gaming on Vita to PS3 because I can play it at the right time, and the right place (i.e., in bed !). ^_^

EDIT:
I'd like to play a PSP platformer on the Vita, any suggestions?

Have you tried Rayman Origins and Monster Blobs yet ?

Just finished Rayman Origins. Brilliant game and looks incredible on the Vita. Got two more teeth to get and about 6 trophies so might try and platinum this; would be my first overall on PSN!

I've already played Rayman and, I'm not entirely sure, but if you're talking about Tales from Space Mutant Blobs Attack, it's not the kind of game I want to play right now..

Do you only want certain kinds of platformers, then? You didn't really specify. Mutant Blobs Attack is a fantastic platformer, but if you're not really wanting a 2D platformer, then it's understandable.
