The use of the word generations could just be a pun, ala the generations of Bond. Best to think that than to believe it means of the console generations, which is just setting yourself up for dissapointment.
Hype. Let me tell you how much I've come to hype since I read this teaser. There are 387.44 million miles of printed circuits in wafer thin layers that fill my complex. If the word 'hype' was engraved on each nanoangstrom of those hundreds of miles it would not equal one one-billionth of the hype I feel for this teaser at this micro-instant. For this teaser. Hype. Hype.

It's cute how print magazines are so desperate to get hype that they have to use crazy hyperboles and twitter hype (see the game informer thread that pops up every month).
I guess it's kinda sad really.
Yea the first thing I thought of was the Final Fight map.

Aaaah, now I'm reading the teaser is for the June issue, so one month from now.
However.

To note in the Table of Content that there's "Crimson Shroud" listed alone.
Crimson Shroud is a 3DS game

red thing + 'comrade' = some cold war thing
Yeah, I know. But they're listing it as a stand-alone, not as Guild-01, since it's a part of the compilation.
You don't really think they're going to release Crimson Shroud as a stand-alone retail title, do you? They probably didn't call it Guild01 because the article is focused on only that one game.

Not entirely true, both Square Enix and Nicalis were given exceptions and announced games. I don't see why Activision wouldn't be extended the same courtesy for something that's been tied closely to Nintendo platforms historically (007).Nintendo has kept all WiiU announcements and news silent for almost a year now. I seriously doubt that Nintendo Power will be the ones to finally break it.
I was thinking it as a possible DD release. But probably, it's just an article from NP without any localisation meaning, since it's a Power Up article.
I will pretend it's advance wars and then say fuck when it isn't

Skimming this thread, Fire Emblem, TWEWY, 007 Generations, Black Ops 2 -- all shit suggestions.
Honestly, I hope it's Retro's new game... which may be a FPS as rumored, and set in Russia for all we know. Nintendo's bid for the hardcore crowd, perhaps. But yeah, who knows.

Advance Wars 3
Plot - Wars World was taken over by an Alien Threat, the game focuses on a now Alcoholic Olaf struggling to get to grips with his tormented past (he fled when his friends needed him) so he and his rag tag unit can retake Wars World.
+ Full Orchestra and Halo 3 scale marketing campaign. Conclusion to Epic Trilogy.
Edit - Or maybe they can do the Colin = Young Trunks, retake the past kind of thing.
Everyone died as a result of the meteor storm at the start of Advance Wars: Days of Ruin, bub.
All this talk of Russia, and no speculation on a Metal Gear Solid game for Wii U?
