Cool! Now a brand new JSR sequel, please.
Don't worry, I'm sure the 3ds will get a version as well...

Fatality. Flawless victory!

Correct me if I'm wrong but weren't Sonic Adventure games and Space Channel 5 bad versions on the PS3? What makes this a faithful port that takes full advantage of the hardware on both the PS3 and PS Vita? Bear in mind I haven't read any news when it was first announced on the PS3/Xbox 360 or looked into the rest of the dreamcast ports.
Space Channel 5 Part 2 was a very good port, it was the only one so far that was handled with care. Sonic Adventure was an atrocious port of the PC version that was 4:3 only, 30fps and nothing in the way of visual enhancement - which is ironic because even a 7 year old PC can max it out.

ULTROS!

People seem to like me because I am polite and I am rarely late. I like to eat ice cream and I really enjoy a nice pair of slacks.

I know the Crazy Taxi and Sega Bass Fishing were decent. The only problem with Crazy Taxi was that they had to remove a few stuff due to licensing problems.

There are some very clean looking screens of the Vita version over at the official Sega blog.

I wonder if this is releasing at the same time as the console versions...

EDIT: Yup.

The much-loved Dreamcast classic Jet Set Radio will be coming to PlayStation Vita Systems this summer, and will be playable for the first time at this year’s E3 show!

I stand corrected, thank you. At least one of them is very good, JSR has a higher chance of becoming good as well. Looking at the two new screenshots, it looks very vibrant. So that's a start :D

I've said this in every thread about this game so far.

All of you better buy this fucking game.

Every. Single. One. Of. You.

Double, triple, quadruple dip. I don't care. I want to live to see the day where a new JSR game will be made.

You might be asking too much of Sega here. Let's hope they'll release JSRF first and then we can start bitching for a new one.

This better not result in an outsourced, Western-developed sequel...

But good news!

That was reportedly cancelled as a result of Sega's restructuring at the end of March. Developer was supposedly Headstrong (which had unsuccessfully pitched a JSR reboot for Wii in 2007-08), platforms were supposedly Wii U/3DS/Vita.

Interesting that the HUD has been placed at a 16:9 resolution and and not in a 4:3 selection. I hope they fixed it in the PS360 version. Here's the PS360 HD version's current HUD:

I'm just glad I snagged one from a friend for cheap. Now i'm learning about the system in reverse...usually plan purchases and then buy, but that was a snap judgement.

Anyway, hope they didnt mess with the intro. "K K DJ K, K K DJ K, C'mon...Jet Set Radio...radio...radio..." is stuck in my head forever.

Nah, they can keep that one.

Well, you gotta support 4:3 still on consoles - hopefully the budget will extend itself to a GUI adjuster option but I wouldn't get your hopes up. Vita version looks glorious, those colours will be great on the screen - fingers crossed it stays native res.

don't really understand all the "dat oled" posts. My TV and my iPhone screens are both clearly better than the panel in the Vita. Vita screen tech is not a priority for me in this respect.

I don't know what TV you have, but I'm betting that Vita's screen is better than both of those in saturation, black levels, and response time. Sure, it's also not as good in some areas, but I wouldn't say iPhone's screen is "clearly better". Having used iPhone 4s and Vita both extensively, I (and most people I've showed the Vita to that own an iPhone) think the Vita has one of the nicest looking screens they've ever seen.
