It seems to show up more when there's a big dip in the 24 hour stats for the game, as Halo 3 doesn't actually seem to update player count that much.

I've gotten it in Action Sack, which on some nights reads "4 players" but doesn't always spit the error.

Then again, Halo 3 also still prompts you to preorder Reach when you start it up and your cache has been cleared.

I don't think I speak for myself when I say BOOM! Ball is better than Griffball.

You know, 343, it's not not too late to make a playlist for it...

You didn't even sign up for the BOOM!Ball tournament I tried to get started. False patriot.

I hope there's a sizeable amount of ways to get out of maps in 4's campaign. Reach had a noticeable dearth of such opportunities.

I want to get out of those maps and explore those beautiful Forerunner landscapes, Halo 3 style.

I sure did.

Glad you did, I agree with your question.

I've always loved playing competitive objective with my buddies, im sad that the population is so low just because it's "easier" to play slayer with randoms/less communication is needed to achieve success.

Really glad you guys at 343i are putting a ton of effort into objective as David I think mentioned in the most recent podcast. It's always been my favorite type of thing to play because slayer after slayer after slayer inevitably gets boring as hell.

Griffball doesn't work for me, I have piss-poor internet and it just seems that no matter what I do in Grifball I always end up with about -25kd. I think the hammer combat is is suicide with my poor latency.

I remember getting a few killionaires in Halo 3 Griffball when I used to have fibre optic bb, but then I moved out to the countryside. Now I have nice clear air and beatiful views, but the goddamn crappy internet is the bane of my life.

Because I'm black I steal stuff. Wow, I expect that sort of racism from Elzar. Shame on you young man.

Damn son, your post count is gonna pass mine out at this stage. I've had MGS on the menu screen for ages :( I should play that soon.

Or everyone could get back online *hint hint* (I don't care how late it is)

Griffball in Reach doesn't work the same way as in 3. Same connection. In Halo 3, i could own in Griffball. In Reach, whenever i try to attack, i either don't hit or do minimal damage and my enemies win 99% of simultaneous attacks.

A guy on the other team partied with 3 other people told me this was probably going to be a fair game after I remarked about having a guest on my team. I could not backpack :(

Why cant some other playlist just be incorporated into the arena ranking system besides just one slayer list? Why is it such a big deal to do?

Solution, move to the USA.

Curious to see if MLG list will stick around with only 1k+ numbers. At least in 3 they had a lot higher population.

stealth asking post.

Griffball was a weird beast for me. There was always one dude owning everyone who was probably just the host. I'd literally have to train myself to swing way earlier than I normally would so that by the time the game registered, my swing might have been good.

Playing Destruction Derby a lot, it has made me hope for improved hog physics.

Doubt that would solve this...
Umm. Besides, how it would solve this? By having a weak connection? My connection is not that great so it's not like that actually matters.
Besides, USA is not the kind of country i'd like to live in. Now Canada could be ok, it's like a big Finland; in cold, has a lot of forests, and is kinda of backwater, a quiet place (anything interesting happening is really rare).

Solution: Minnesota.

Kind of tempted to replay all the Halo games until Monday.

Funny, I'm doing that right now. Currently downloading my copy of CE back onto my xbox and found my copy of H2. Gonna be a fun weekend.

You need to update your understanding of either Canada or "interesting".

Playthrough of Halo:CE begins...now.

Edit: I probably should've played Reach first, but it's fresher in my mind, I feel like I wouldn't want to go through it as much.
