For people worried about the credits, the JPN Wii version had the credits put back in. So I assume this version will have it too. Altho since it was FMV, I hope it doesn't look too bad upscaled.

Never finished it on ps2. Tried emulating it on pc not long ago and never got through the opening conversation, forgot how fucking long that was, lol, but will probably get this and try and finally get through it.

Have a fun! Enjoy!
Wonder who's in charge for the remaster.

Ready At Dawn did the Wii version and they already remastered a few GOW games didn't they? Perhaps it's them?

I'd hope Bluepoint, but you're probably right. They did a terrible job on the Wii ver, but their other ports have been very good so hopefully everyone involved has learned their lesson.

I played Okami on PS2, like it somewhat. Doesn't seem like a game I'd have fun replaying though.

Same

Spent 60 hours getting all the beads before completing the game

Enjoyed it. but I have no reason to ever pick it up again.

Curious to see how this will look in HD though. Never really would have figured Okami as a game that'd need one.

I hope the japanese version includes english text also, so I can import the disc version.

it's an AMAZING game that goes above and beyond its obvious Zelda-inspired roots.

Just be prepared for a long, long, loooooooooooooooooong game

You won't want it to end anyway.

He's a pretty swell guy in my books anyway.
Ah, so that's how they'll let it through. Digital only. Still pretty cool.

SCEA really needs to relax its localization rules next generation.

While Capcom may not take advantage of a retail release in the U.S., we'll never know because the option will never be there.

That different regions have different rules is still baffling.

Hard to describe but this game more than any gave me strange feeling when playing it. It almost felt as if you were transported to that world.

Not sure I can sink in the time again though. That game went on for too damn long.

Shame, I was hoping this would be a 360 title as well, I guess Okami is never destined to be experienced by xbox owners, heh.

I've been sitting on the PS2 copy I borrowed from a friend for a long time now because I've been waiting for this HD release.

It will be mine day one for sure. I'm super pumped for this!

Such a beautiful game, and now I'll get to experience it in shiny HD.

The PlayStation.Blog post actually says "Okami HD Coming Exclusively to PS3 With PlayStation Move Support This Fall"
Oh well, that's it then.
Being on Wii (so NOT a Sony exclusive) I hoped they were going to consider a multiplatform release for the HD version.

I wonder if there's a chance that Sony ponied up to have one of their partners do the port. All the HD ports of Sony first party material has been pretty spectacular.
