This just in: Wilson Betemit (who was just doubleswitched in the game) fielded a grounder and instead of getting the sure DP, throws home. Not only was it a dumb play, but the rundown took so long Mets got runners at 2nd and 3rd. Jordany Valdespin promptly singles them both home, 5-0 game.

Tomodachi wa Mahou
Hideo Nomo had some criminally underrated seasons. Daisuke had a couple years. Kuroda has been stellar and has been solid this year.
Not to mention there have been plenty of stellar relievers.
