Well, OK. It's still not quite as mindblowing as cloudbush. Since both the cloud and the bush sprites were visible in the same screen in SMB, and some people wouldn't make the connection.

I don't think that Capcom recycling art assets is really a mindblowing fact.
Though, this does remind me that the original Duke Nukem for PC did steal art assets from both Mega Man (PC Version) and Turrican...
The others can definitely be claimed to be ripped off, but this one? They're a similar design, sure, but they're clearly not the same asset.

Yeah, I'm not so sure. Can anyone here try it?!
Almost positive that was an emulator. The capture software is easier that way and I guess whoever was making the video preferred his games with a smooth filter.

The striping patterns are different, too. They were probably designed from the same template, but they're not expressly identical.
edit: Also, spambot is indeed the most mindblowing thing here since cloudbush.

Well, Megaman 2 for PC doesn't exist, despite there being a terrrible Megaman 3.
Perhaps 2 was so much worse than either 1 or 3 that time rewrote itself to save us from something that bad.
One could give a full semester of classes on game design just comparing this version with the NES versions

Weird... the width of the stripes is the same in the middle of the first/edge of the second, and vice versa.
And they both have the same colours and neither has a big E on it...

Yeah, the Master System version of Sonic 2 never got an American release. The console was long dead over there by that point in time.
Well .. the game got a SOUTH american release because of the insanity popularity of Master System here
But then again, here in Brazil is the only place in the world with an official version of Street Fighter 2 for Master =P
Actualy It is more of a "first time I finished the game on something that is not the Genesis" thing .... Genesis' Sonic 2 has a bad ending, but not that bad

I hated that game. For the longest time, it was the only game I owned on the Game Gear.
