I just got my Hori Face Cover in, but it doesn't protect the very top, and I've been taking it out of the case when I'm at home. It's so noticeable that it's all I can look at.

I'm ready for a Vita revision now. I'm all set to buy a new one.

What do you think of the white vita?. Hope they offer it outside the bundles. As for the hardware, I guess they could improve the sticks and battery life?? I really don't have many complaints about the hardware when I think about it, but I do look forward to how they improve the vita.

I like the white Vita, but my white Kindle is already starting to yellow, so I'm afraid to buy white electronics. I'd totally buy a yellow Vita though. The battery life, start and select buttons, and speaker placement (I constantly cover them with my hands) are all I can think of to change. I suppose the device could be made lighter.

They are cars..... just evolved into something better. I love that 2048 intro. For some reason I always assumed they took jet tech and made it compact versus a natural evolution of car tech. The intro cleared that up.

The intro to 2048 was awesome. Totally reminded me of the Gran Turismo 2 one.

The memory situation is still the #1 reason I haven't bought a vita yet but that nyko battery+grips makes me more interested. Playing with vita demo units my hands would cramp after less than 10 minutes due to the awkward form factor for my hands. It's a hand size issue not a hand toughness issue since one of my jobs is very rough/hand intensive.

I hate this so much. It always happens even when I try to avoid covering them.

i wish the ps3 stereo headset worked with the vita. being tethered with a wire to a handheld annoys me.

and im not gonna pay like €200 for wireless bluetooth headsets :p

You should invest in some nice headphones!

This. Vita supports my overpriced bluetooth beats by dre. Before that, my shures did the job.
Any recommendations? Sound quality is key, but the price needs to be, too. x_x

Agreed on both counts. I'll deal with the cord for sure, but it would be nice to have free reign. And yeah, money.

Where do you live that BT headsets are £200?

I use the offiicial Sony one, the HQ model, came with Socom 4 lol, hell I even have the old Jabra with WarHawk

BT's are hella cheap, unless you want super duper noise cancellation ala Jawbone

Never mind read it as the wrong BT headset lol

As far as sound quality, wired is definitely better than Bluetooth. I would reccomend over the ear than in ear (for ear health) head phones. There are so many companies offering good head phones. My shures cost about 70-100 now. SQ is great.

Best $40 I've spent in a while

picked up Unit 13 on thursday at Gamestop for $20, picked up Gravity Rush and MGSHD for $20 each with the B2G2 Best Buy today.

Nice Vita week

I'd happily take an extended period in certification if it means games come out with fewer bugs, glitches, etc.

It's not like MS just sit on releases, they have a somewhat decent certification process and it's something I greatly appreciate. my only concern is that they have recently started to allow games that are broken to be released, they need to clamp down on that shit.

Not sure about the terrible to work for, for every dev that complains, there's one or more claiming MS are great to work with.

Rubbish. They always sit on games, what do you think the entire purpose of assigning 'slots' is? It's to limit the flow of releases.

And you're being ridiculous if you think RCR has been in cert all this time. The main purpose of cert isn't even to look for bugs, it's to make sure games apply to Microsoft's "technical quality standards" (basically making sure they follow all their rules, like A being select in menus, disconnected controllers are handled properly, etc) and don't open up security holes. They leave actual QA up to the developers and publishers.

I now have a 16GB memory card. What's the easiest way to wipe my old one and put my JPSN account on it?

If you don't need to keep anything that is on it then just go into settings -> System -> Format and format the memory card.

If you need to keep anything then you get to enjoy Content Manager.

Then you need to restore the whole Vita and log in with your SCEJ account.

Retro City Rampage IS ready for release. The whole waiting game is Microsoft's fault.

Next time they should just name the Vita version differently, adjust some features, and release it first. ^_^

Microsoft's whatever policies should _not_ affect Vita in any shape or form. >8^/

Uh, I know. That was my point, that Microsoft are holding it up because they only assign a very small amount of slots. I'm guessing they're backed up until after the Summer of Arcade, which means everyone else has to wait to get a release.

Finally got a Vita yesterday, enjoying the hell out of it so far. I think I got a good bargain for the price on eBay: $230 for a Wi-Fi Vita w/ 16 GB Memory Card & PDP System Grips. So far I've bought Dynasty Warriors Next, Mortal Kombat (thanks GameStop!), Gravity Rush, & also Valkyria Chronicles II. The visual fidelity from the screen is blowing my mind, can't believe how great games look on it.

In my opinion the Vita has the best screen I have seen to date on a mobile device.

Does anybody else play Montezuma while holding the Vita like a tablet? It feels a lot more comfortable and since the jewels fall down even if you're holding it like that, it's not disorienting. For those of you that play the game, I recommend you try it.
I prefer holding it the normal way. TOM Blitz is really quite an addictive game, I play it on my Vita almost every day :D

Is that jet set radio hasn't been released?

Also if I get the vita version do I get the ps3 version also?

No, Jet Set Radio hasn't been released for precisely the same reason Retro City Rampage hasn't been released. Dunno about JSR being part of the "buy one get both" trend, but I'm fairly sure Retro City Rampage is one of the B1GB games.

Just bought Virtua Tennis 4 from PSN because of the discount and nostalgia from my Dreamcast days. And damn, what kind of witchcraft are they using for the graphics? Native res, 60fps, the game is beautiful! Not only that, but it plays perfectly and has a lot of content too.
Great purchase!

After playing Dissidia 012 on my Vita for a few weeks and going back to playing it on the PSP, I have to say, the addition of the second analog + bigger screen really makes it feel like an entirely different game. I literally can't go back.

Not good. I would just use a tablet. Vita doesn't have enough vertical real estate, though I do use the browser sometimes.
That wouldn't be an issue if they just allowed for tilt detection like the iPhone.

I mean it's disappointing that the safari browser on my phone is much much better, to the extent that using the vita browser at all just feels shit.

Retro City and Jet Set would be my Vita Summer of Arcade. I wouldn't even touch my PS3 for two months if both games came out now, or in like a week or so.

Sadly it didn't and probably won't happen.... :(

Has anyone heard anything about the PS Vita Game Heaven 2 event? It was supposed to be on 7/6 and 7/7 so it has come and gone but there's been pretty much no news about it.

Are you going to use that account on the Vita again?

You only need to deactivate if you are never going to use that account. If you ARE going to use that account then just restore the Vita to factory settings and then punch in your SCEJ details and set your memorycard up as you want.

Then you can flip back and fourth.

So I just found out that if you go to RedTube with your Vita, instead of playing the video, it will save it to your Videos app.

Pretty cool....

That shit fucking pisses me off to no end.

It's one of the reasons i cannot stand microsoft.

Well, if Sony can secure the rights to timed and full exclusive titles like they did in previous generations, I will be getting a PS4. The PS3 has a better first party library compared to the 360 in my opinion, but the waiting game for DLC and arcade games is ridiculous. That's one of the reasons why I bought a 360 a few years and put the PS3 off to the side.

Hey guys, need opinions...I've got $35 in psn credit, any vita games on psn worth getting? I've got MGS and Gravity Rush

Full games or smaller titles?

Mutant Blobs attack is great. Motorstorm RC is liked by many, Escape plan is good fun too. And Super Stardust Delta of course.

All but Mutant Blobs have demos if I recall correctly.
