Lara at least is female and has PlayStation historyLara is about as bad of a choice as Bond is. Both are terrible choices.
What does Bond have?

"CrystalD" = square? they may own the company, but this says nothing of other characters.
besides, there's no chance in hell it'd be the old lara
I believe he is the Global Brand Director for the Tomb Raider he was on an episode of the Playstation Blogcast recently. He would definitely have a say in where the character would end up.

Lara shouldn't be added just to get more females in the game. There are plenty more females that would work much better.
It doesn't even matter she won't be in the game.
Well Paul certainly doesn't make it too easy, lol.
I guess I need to provide a little help. In th last link I shared, the bullet hint reference lies in the photo of the letter from First Lady Michelle Obama and me.
What's obvious to me is all that is in all 4, original pics (but then again I designed them in such a way). I'll tell ya this much, amongst the guesses thus far across my site, this place, and elsewhere, part of the puzzle has indeed been solved. So good job to some of you.
Just tell us that Bond isn't in so we can rest easy.
Well, they could include the new Lara. She would be able to use her dual pistols, the tomahawk and her bow too. Would be pretty nice for combos with these weapons. Bond, on the other hand...
Oh hey you just became a member, congratsplease kind sir.. listen to this man
I could see the argument for Big Daddy, I can definitely see the argument for Heihachi but James Bond I really cant at all. He doesn't even really make for an interesting character with all the current weapon users. Not only that but if your gonna get a spy character use this guy.
Angry fan: Why will James Bond be in the game? He's barely associated with PlayStation!
Superbot: James Bond® will be cool. He'll enter the fight while purchasing Sony® products on his Vaio© laptop, calling with a Sony© Ericcson© phone, with a Vita® chained to his suit because that shit doesn't fit in any pocket while listening to Sony© produced music on his Sony©® mp3 player. We at Superbot entertainment totally believe that he will be a great addition to a roster and ask you to be openminded about third party characters. We are aware that there are so many cool first party characters, but you have to understand that none of them are James Bond®.
Sony Ericsson doesn't exist anymore FYI It's Sony Mobile Communications or some shit

I've never been good at games like this. In the picture mentioned by Paul Gale, there is an American flag in the background. I haven't gone through the trouble of counting all of the bullets in the hint pictures, but I counted thirteen on the left of the small gun and fifty on the right.
Could it be a reference to the thirteen original colonies and fifty states? I think someone already mentioned that the bullets' shape as a whole resembles the United States.
It's very likely that I'm grossly over-thinking.
Those costumes can be unlocked,i thinkSuperbot: Our information database, much like the graphics in "PlayStation® All-Stars Battle Royale", seems to be outdated. My sincere apologies, I hope this unfortunate error did not cause you to cancel your pre-order and miss out on exclusive alternate costumes that cannot be found anywhere else.

I suspect the American flag has something to do with the bullets hint.

....Duke Nukem?
I don't think the ages of the guns really matter considering Paul already owned them. It's not like he's going to go out and buy eighteenth century weaponry just for a character hint. Was about to post this. I don't know a lot about guns, and history though. So how old is that rifle in the pic?
Duke Nukem in a T game? Nah.
This actually... makes a lot of sense.
I too am wondering about the rifle.
Holy shit, I just realized something. The "La Li Lu Le Lo" hidden in the bullets has nothing to do with Snake -- it's the codename for the Patriots. Assassin's Creed III takes place during the American Revolution and features such "patriots" as Paul Revere and Samuel Adams.
