Inazuma Eleven 1-3 compilation announced for 3DS

This isn't a Nintendo game though, so if NoA isn't interested, maybe someone else can license it for release in the US.

I'm buying it. I never got around to grabbing the 2nd games, despite enjoying the first one immensely.

semi-off topic, but I- a native English speaker- have played all the Layton games in Japanese, and bought an English copy of one of the games for the sole purpose of lending to my Japanese friends.

Point: Do the same thing with the Layton series, and give us language options! The riddles are great for practicing a language.

I really doubt this will go outside Japan. Wouldn't they have to translate a bunch of games?

I wanted to get Inazuma Eleven imported but I see the sequel is out. Which is better - Firestorm or Blizzard?

I liked the first one, but not enough to buy a different region's 3ds. I hope someone brings it over here

Unlikely as NoA (rightly) prefers to do their own localisations. That does seem to be changing slightly with Xenoblade and potentially The Last Story.

What other games they released could they have used the NoE translation? Seems pretty consistent in that they use something if it's ready for their release and don't bother to do it from scratch then.

I hope it comes to Europe and don't do the Scamco way breaking the release in two

I like to think that they are porting it to the 3DS partly because of the European market.

It wouldn't surprise me if we only get 3 or 1-2 sold in one package and 3 seperately, though.

Nah, if a game comes out in Europe first like Trace Memory, Fire Emblem DS or Minish Cap, NoA will get Treehouse to do their own (likely better) translation rather than use the NoE text. Wherever possible NoA prefer to do their own scripts, which almost always end up better than the European versions. Advance Wars Days of Ruin is a case in point.

The recent Fire Emblem games and Glory of Heracles were translated by 8-4, not Treehouse. NoA has already shown that they don't have to use Treehouse on titles they consider more niche.

Fingers crossed that this becomes the next European release. The series has been pretty good and my younger self would have been addicted to them if the games existed years earlier.

A soccer game isn't going to do well in the US anyway....

with the women olympic team in finals, it is a golden opportunity to boost this game :)
even the canadian team is in 3rd place match.

go release it !

(and here in Montréal, soccer starts to become big :) )

I think an American release would probably depend on if the show gets picked up here. If it does I could see Bandai or Nintendo going ahead with this (and maybe Strikers/Go series too).

For IE2, the main differences are just minor story points and various secrets. In the end it all comes down to if you like the whiny fire user or the awesome dual-personality ice user.

This seems like a great way to introduce North American gamers to the franchise. Hopefully, it's brought over here after the inevitable European release.

As soon as it will hit europe, it will be day 1 for me.
the perfect plan should be:

Inazuma strikers september
Inazuma collection december
Inazuma Go 3ds holidays 2013

go go go!

besides, I think that with the IEGo2 already planned for a Japanese winter release, this collection is not so smart for the Japanes market.

I would love to see this come to Europe in a timely fashion. Been holding out getting the first 2 in the hopes of a 3DS remake

I imported the first one from Europe and loved it. I'd definitely be down for more so I'm crossing my fingers we get lucky here.. this seems like an ideal scenario for a US introduction.

Still half-way through the first one on the DS. I guess I'll wait and see if this is released in Europe first.

The scan states that the game does indeed have 3D. It's just 3D environments with 2D sprites, so it should look similar to Fire Emblem if they get the 3D depth right.

Erm... I don't think there are any 2D sprites in the game. It's like DQIX.

I'm sure this was green lighted with Europe in mind. The first two games sold well so this is pretty good way of continuing the series.

Btw, graphical improvement or not, I think that 3 (or 6, whatever) games in one cartridge priced as one is a pretty good strategy, and nice move for consumers.
