It's ok, sometimes I need to get a bit out of my comfort zone a little bit.
And from what I can find of it, the second season looks like it will be more fun.
Keep at it, I think you're in for a treat. Loved this show.
I need to watch another show where the MC isn't an incompetent loser who GETS ALL DAY WOMENS.

Well that makes sense then. But from the first episode, I just knew her character was going to do something whack.
She is the most "neutral" character of the bunch so I kind of expected her to do something unusual. Still don't know WHY she did that. Thats what episode 19 is for since we got (pleasantly) trolled by a beach episode in 18.
Hulu has begun streaming the first six episodes of Lupin the Third Part II, dubbed. (Well, technically it's the first seven episodes minus the one involving Nazis.)

11 - Nice end to the arc, Haru being a whiny bitch didn't hurt proceedings too much.
12 - 15 - And dickwad enters the ring with Haru reaching new lows, I miss the old arc already. T_T

Elena Peoples is many peoples, so far the episodes feel like they're trying to tell a story in pieces spread all over the place, and nothing is adding up.

because of the new Hidamari Sketch season I'm rewatching Hidamari Sketch X 365 now.
And the first half of the first episode was just stunning amazing. It was some kind of Hidamari meets Bakemonogatari thing.

Elena Peoples is many peoples, so far the episodes feel like they're trying to tell a story in pieces spread all over the place, and nothing is adding up.
Kuroyukihime and Sky Raker are easily the best female characters in the show. No others can match up to this duo.

The clunkiest barrel roll Ive ever seen but it was an awesome moment, go Natarle and Murrae, whom needs more screentime. I still wonder who they have that HD-ify's scenes as stuff like this are just random to have given the treatment when they are not consistent letting stuff like this stay in.

The whole show is filled with Cute though. Enjoying it thoroughly. I'm caught up now which is good, but now I REALLY wanna see more of it
If they ever become a couple, I will call this a great anime no matter what other crap they try to pull.
That's unlikely but you just know there are doujins being made RIGHT NOW that cater to this.

I agree with your top two for sure. Niko and Chiyu I still like though they both come off to me as a bit annoying at times.
What about Kuroyukihime, Sky Raker, and Niko all at the same time?

Edit: Yeah i just figured it out.
To be fair, I don't know if that's the exact reason this particular episode wasn't put on Hulu for now, since it was eventually included in later US DVD releases. Just speculating.

Was a pretty exciting episode, even the one-off characters were pretty charming.

I decided to catch up on some shows. I wasn't anticipating to shoot through 5 episodes in one sitting though! Tari Tari just kind of flows, it has some great pacing...

Christ, that was a bit overly dramatic, wasn't it? Choir recitals are serious business.
And it might just be me, but it seemed pretty apparent that different hands where on this episode, as certain female characters looked more *ahem* pronounced.
I've decided that this series takes place in an alternate dimension. The principle can't have dat hair, and no one passes comment on it!

"I don't money". Is the man walking the pig, bordering on racist? Eitherway it felt wierdly inapporipriate. Sakai needs to become more interesting, being aloof and mysterious does not make for an engaging character here. Wien is my favourite character so far, if only because he doesn't seem unrealistically talented; that and he's endearingly earnest.
Ah, the dirty book chronicles finally ends. Its those kinds of little recurring details that I appreciate with this series so far.

I'm getting a good sense of the world now, and its nice to see that it's one which actually feels populated. There was some nice character development here, and I'm finally being given a better impression of where the series is going. The ensemble should be utlized better overall though; the boys are really getting neglected so far.
The Condor Queens song is pretty catchy.

Wow, Wakana is Ice-cold. Her abrasiveness almost stops me from empathizing with her. Almost.
I know it's pretty much a close-knit community within the town, but the coindences just keep stacking up. It's starting to veer a little too much on the ridiculous side, "oh, I also have something of relevance to your departed mother."

That was a nice resolution, and it felt like it was rounding off this particular arc and moving forward. For as much as I was becoming irritated with Wakana, her resolution has made it worthwhile. The key scene between those two was deftly handled, when it could have so easily been mawkish.

Assuming it is a quality release, hopefully it does well.
Also, that same solicitation reveals both the Black Lagoon Seasons 1 & 2 Collection BD/DVD for $55, plus what's listed as a Hellsing Ultimate Complete Collection BD/DVD for $70. No idea what the exact contents of the latter are, though.
