No doubt about the Shibuya setting now, those like me who wanted a sequel in another place are most likely going to be dissapointed when the shit gonna be revealed.
I'm afraid it will be some kind of portage or remake, at worse iOS/android/social game, at best full 3D (urg) remake on 3DS.

Though I don't remember anything great ever coming out of these countdowns this gen in general. Terrible trend, same goes for announcements of announcements for teaser consisting of 10 second CGI without gameplay.

I played the first TWEWY but didn't really get very far before the over complicated combat system gave me a brain meltdown. May give this a shot even if it is just a remake; I remember the setting/story being quite refreshing.

Hybrid included, my favorit song of the game, and it's sad NOONE mentioned it until now.

I always felt it was better to just mash the left/right button, it was way faster and dealt more damage than the AI ever could.
You can set the top screen character to be played automatically if you absolutely have to.

I'm surprised they included 'Twister (Gang Mix)' in one of the remixes. I'm quite pleased.
Regarding the pics however, I'm filled with a certain sense of despair, as it seems like nothing has changed. Which has me leaning toward port or remake.
However, I will still believe until the end. And proceed to have my hopes crushed.

I absolutely loved it. The music was probably my favorite part of the game.
I have a strong memory attached to what was going on in my life because of that music.

Teaser sites like this almost always lead to shit. That's basically it. That, and Square-Enix is all kinds of disappointing this generation, even if they put out some good stuff too.
The best outcome is a new game that's not for browsers or phones, let's be real here and not split hairs over when it's set.
That said, the secret ending pretty much demands a sequel so I doubt it'd be a prequel.
Yeah, I was going with:
1) New non-mobile/browser game.
2) Port/remake.
3) duckroll wins.
4) I don't even know.

Regarding the plot they could do anything they want, TWEWY story was just about one of the Reaper's Game in Shibuya (the last ?).
They could show us Joshua, Mr H and all the Reapers from the view of new protagonists before the events of TWEWY, i wouldn't mind and it would be wayyyyyy better than some shitty port or remake.
