I think he looks odd, I think I like the other dude more. The girls are all bland especially the main one and cant believe they kiss twice already, wont be watching this.

Produced by IG rather than the usual Toei, actually.
Definitely like the look of The Monster Next Door more, but I'll still give this a try.
It also looks better than the ten episodes you still need to watch OATHBREAKER!

Lacus even got to (briefly) pilot the Infinite Justice. Well, more like just sat in it, but still. Would've been funny if she'd become hot-blooded and violent if given the chance to be a regular pilot

The effects are indeed very glaring, but that might be the point. Hard to judge without seeing what the overall intent is in the movie. It sure is... pretty though, in a rather pleasant way. I really like the way the characters move.

I like that poster thing they show at the end, it looks really nice when the characters and the one playing the music and using the magic is really awesome design. Hope it leaves JPN?
It will to some extent as they're showing it in Scotland next month, but beyond that who knows?
Yeah, they border on Mardock-esque at times. Looks great, but could stand to be toned down a bit.
Random bit of musing: for Japan's endless infatuation with cherry blossoms, actual cherries don't really seem to be widely incorporated in Japanese cuisine. You'd think they'd be the national fruit or something.

I believe the fruit of Japanese cherry trees aren't actually edible (although the petals are). A quick Google suggests that edible cherries weren't introduced until the Restoration.

I wouldn't go that far. GoHands has an extremely garish and unpleasant sense of color design which infects all their productions; this trailer has a much better understanding of what's pleasing to the eye.

This time it'll be at the Ufotable Cinema in Tokushima on 10/6 as part of the Machi★Asobi event line-up. Similar to the Tokyo screening, they'll be showing ep1 and 2, and Motohiro, Shiotani, and Urobuchi will all be in attendance. The tickets are tentatively priced at 2500yen each, probably before the cast guests won't be there.

I wasn't implying that the two are comparable on any level, but there were a couple of moments in the trailer (0:22, 1:13) where the color choices and level of saturation felt unnatural and uncomfortable. I'm all for flooding the imagery with the essence of spring through the use of pastels and soft lighting, however a few moments appeared inconsistent in this regard, veering more into neons.

The season doesn't really start until the 28th with the first broadcast of From The New World, but that's only on a satellite channel before the terrestrial screenings start in October. The first "proper" broadcast is the first episode of Hi-iro no Kakera season 2 on the 30th.
While they're not exactly objective, the season preview on Random Curiosity is well laid out and legible; I'm not a fan of the giant JPEGs that people tend to use but I'm sure someone else could link to one of those.
My personal picks (in order) are From The New World, Psycho-Pass and The Monster Next To Me, with tentative interest in Zetsuen no Tempest, Magi, K and Robotics;Notes.

Just thought I'd add that they've done two new short CMs for the show - the 30 second spot has I think even more new footage than PV 3 did. This show looks soooooo good.
I'm glad to see GAiNAX still inspires at least a 'reasonable doubt', before people starts to avoid it completely...

No problem. I'll also say that besides From the New World, I'm most looking forward to Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun, Hidamari Sketch X Honeycomb, Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!, Magi, tentatively Psycho-Pass, and of course the glorious return of Gintama.
Does it ever! I think it's the most excited I've been for an upcoming show since I started watching currently running TV anime. Of course it helps that it's shown the most advance footage of any show in that time period.
