Just watched FUD 3...

More like FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU..D

Each episode getting better and better. Really cannot wait to see it in one big chunk.

I can see how someone very easily could make that mistake.

It's not THAT obvious.

Relax nerd police.
They are correct in that it's pretty clearly not a modern human skull in those pictures. Frank said something about how there was a twist to the Prometheans when questioned if that was a human skull, and I thought it might have to do with the ancient humans in Bear's novels, who had more drastically different physical qualities. Also, the Legendary emblem is drawn in such a way that it makes the nasal slits barely visible, although the hole in the forehead is clear.

Pretty much every episode? I mean it's not as bad as True Blood, Spartacus (Starz) and others, but it's pretty constant except for a chunk in the second season.

I mean I'm fine with it personally, but there are people I would like to watch it with and that sucks.

If you take the sex out of GoT, it's no longer true to the source material, though. Honestly, the first episode of the series is nowhere near as graphic as the same bits in the book.

For some reason, particularly in America, there is a social stigma against sex in media. People watching hours upon hours of graphic violent content is all fine and dandy, but you see a pair of tits on screen and everyone freaks out.

And why can't you? You get embarrassed to easily or what am I missing here.

It's not that difficult to understand - my family is fairly traditional and they're not going to watch something with a graphic nudity and sex. You can mock that as you will, but I'll respect it.

EDIT: Ah, EuroGAF already jumped on it. Got that taken care of. :)

He hasn't shown good leadership at all prior to the end of that second episode, quite the opposite actually. He's acted rebellious and arrogant towards the chain of command, and made some clearly stupid decisions in the field.

He acted rebellious to Vickers, who is a tool. I agree he made some stupid decisions, like running off on his own, but he felt he had a better plan. He is the only one questioning why the enemy is the enemy. He knows many of them are just farmers and civilians standing up for themselves and believes they may deserve a chance. He wanted to catch the enemy and have them surrender and not kill them outright, yes its a training exercise but those tactics and traits will carry over. Colonel Mehaffey sees this and seems to be trying to encourage and push him in the right direction.

Its not perfect, but its working for me at least.

This a great point and something I have been thinking about since I reread Crytum and Primordium recently.
PRIMORDIUM SPOILERS!
The book starts with ONI questioning the Chakas monitor, and specifically asking him about BOTH Ancient Humans and the Didact. The fact that ONI does want to learn about both of these, in which I assume is after Halo 4 takes place, would mean the 2 are a pretty important part of the Halo 4 story. We've already had ideas about Knights being Composed forerunners, but I think the real mystery of Halo 4 will be discovering what they really are, and how ancient humans play into that.

Hey so I know some people are having trouble finding gamerfuel.

I just used this site: http://itemlocator.pepsico.com/mountaindew/ and found some (the store i went to only had 2 bottles left, but it's better than nothing)

So hope this helps people who are having trouble!

Nearest one is 30 miles from me. FML :(

It's cool man, I just didn't know.

Just watched FUD Part 3.

My god, that ending. How heart breaking and terrifying.

What are you talking about? There are sex scenes in ASOIAF, but most of them could be removed and nothing would be lost from the story or plot, aside from certain character relationships. They're just kinda there, and rarely at that. From what I hear the show has sex in spades, and I sometimes wonder where the producers are drawing all this material from.

God damn it, I hate Halo Wars' multiplayer! People just quit in order to find their boosting partner and you are not even rewarded for that.

You should get at least 1000 points only for winning the game...

Indeed. The series has far more sex and nudity than the books.

I don't have problem with sex or sexuality if it is related to plot. The thing is, 99% it is irrelevant, filler, slowing down the book/series for no reason.

A good thing about military SF (i don't actually like this genre really) like Halo is that sex is rare or non-existent in those often. Though Contact Harvest comes to my mind...

Sigh... The only gamefuel is 50 miles away in NH. Maybe that site is just inaccurate.

Dammit.

Nothing within 25 miles of me either - and even then it's only available in 20 oz bottles at gas stations. From my browsing at literally every grocery store withing 10 miles of my home in the past week I would say the site is accurate. Haven't spotted a single game fuel anything. Hell, we don't even have the DoritosXP bags on shelves yet.

What's with people's obsession to some specially branded... Mountain Dew?
I do not understand the Western world. People don't understand me.

Caught up with FUD and Scanned.

So good.

I'm assuming thats more or less how the didact will look like.

Cryptum Spoilers
So we don't know WHICH didact we'll be facing in Halo 4 right? The original one from Cryptum is dead? So this one is bornstellar? Because the OG Didact was described as being MUCH larger than the one in Scanned. Whereas Bornstellar is only like, half-didact if that makes sense.

Crpytum/Primordium Spoiler:
Both still live.
