Real Jebaileys don't cry:

That November CEO event apparently had a lot of crazy matches going down (there was an Iron Man player who sent Flocker to losers) but it got cancelled due to alcohol related incident. A damn shame.
Oh my god this is hilarious :lol :lol :lol

His delivery of the "I'm not a real Jebailey" line was PERFECT *dead*

What.
The.
Fuck.

Time for the weekly GGPO Vampire Savior tournament! Stream courtesy of Rotanibor. Casuals are being streamed right now, it is set to start around 1PM PST/4PM EST. If you want to sign up, ask Korey in the Vampire Savior lobby. We are also having a Vampire Hunter (The other game featured in Darkstalkers Resurrection) tournament after, so stay tuned for that as well.

I haven't even fully caught up yet and I have to comment on Offcast's post. WSHH Edition was a GENIUS title for this FGW in retrospect.

The Vampire Savior tournament is over, with MightyMar's Anakaris ending Dyne's almost 3 month winning streak. The Vampire Hunter tournament is set to start in 15-20 minutes. If you want to participate, go into the Night Warriors: Darkstalkers' Revenge room in GGPO and ask to be signed up. Rotanibor will be streaming this as well.

How does an entire event get shut down because some kids were drinking? It's not like Jebailey was promoting that shit. He supposed to hire people to walk around making sure nobody's doing anything illegal or something?

It's his fault because it's his event. Same thing happened to EVO.... in like 04? When it almost got shut down because people were busted for weed and poker. It's now known as EVO moment #28.

I'll be fine haha, I've delt with it up to this point so far.

On another note does Yipes still have the best movement in marvel?

I think he still does. Players like Rayray at their best rival him- but Yipes is always 100% on point, movement-wise, with every single character I've seen him play.

Yeah watching Yipes move is insane, it's like he's always making the best decisions at all times. He puts a lot of theory into practice, such as staying out of portions of the screen you don't want to be relative to another character/team, etc. and it's very noticeable.

I think the grand finals where Yipes beat ChrisG was the best example of this. No one else has really come close, and it's why that set was my favorite of all the marvel 3 I've watched up until this point. On-point Yipes is probably my favorite player to watch.

I re watched that the other day and it just reminded me of how much I hate Skisonic. He had no clue what Yipes was doing at all, even on the obvious shit like snapping out a character to avoid getting blown up by hidden missiles. God I already looking forward to loving and hating NEC already because I know he's going to find a way to get his ass on the mic.

Yeah, he missed out pointing out the really impressive stuff (which was later done very well on ultrachen, IMO). Ski then proceeded to be amazed at a standard Akuma hit confirm, IIRC. The quality of the commentary didn't even remotely match the quality of the play that day.
