I'm no coder and I agree that a mobile version is the logical choice but doesn't that look like code to detect the type of browser/os the user viewing the site is using? If that's the case then it doesn't really have anything to do with the actual game.

For what it's worth, I think that's just code so the site redirects to an address for smartphones if it detects a browser for those.

It takes you to http://www.jp.square-enix.com/theatrhythm/sp/index.html instead of http://www.jp.square-enix.com/theatrhythm .

I guess it's possible it could be a sequel. It did pretty well in Japan, and there's certainly no shortage of music to use. A few interviews even hinted at using other SQEX series in future games.

Expecting iOS and maybe Android, but Theaterhythm came out in February in Japan. A sequel announcement now, and a release somewhere between Feb and Apr in Japan would be a perfectly reasonable amount of time between entries.
