Nice, we finally got some voice actor news courtesy of Newtype for Valvrave the Liberator: the role of protagonist Haruto goes to Ryota Ohsaka, while Ryohei Kimura is the white-haired agent L-elf, and Asami Seto and Haruka Tomatsu are the two girls Shouko and Saki who were also in the initial trailer.

This was pretty slow. Nothing offensive with a bad chapter, lots of info being dumped, or bad action, just slow. It wasn't even OreShura slow with nothing happening, just took awhile to really get anywhere.
The main draw is the pretty boys, the demons, the action if it ever pops up and the pretty boys.

I agree. The OP is pretty dull and the ED doesn't match up with the first ED.
Well... I enjoyed the first ED a lot so I guess I should tailor my expectations accordingly then.

Insecurities be damned, I'm sticking with this one. I'm starting to really like the characters here. I can kinda relate with Akari feeling "unremarkable", since that's how I feel when I post in this thread. >_>
Also, I loved the Sentai Yellow/curry joke, since it's the same one Akibaranger did. You've gotta be a pretty hardcore Sentai fan to get that one.

Sites created by overly-optimistic anime fans thinking that their little dot on the internet is going to be the one to magically explode into a major hub for discussion are nothing new, but did you see the original banner ad that I posted a couple of days ago? Much fun was made of just how cringeworthy it is. (reload it when you click because it doesn't loop) That's pretty much the beginning and ending of my passing fascination with the place.

It'll be good to see how this unravels. The MC sort of reminds me of myself a bit though. Shiina's VA doing a good job portraying emotion and emotionless states and it's nice to see Shiina going through... whatever she is going through.

Well my friend watched up to the Steins;Gate episode where
. Had to stop there because he has work tomorrow and so do I. Otherwise we would have marathoned that whole damned thing. He started warming up to the show, especially the awesome chemistry between Makise and Okarin. The way they bitch at each other is totally infectious. Also I noticed some things I didnt before, now that I know how the show went, and they suddenly made complete sense. This show is so fucking brilliant.

Personally, I loved it from the get-go. The characters are too charismatic.

God damn that was awful. This is one of the worst first episodes I've ever seen. I mean yes there is the awful CG but then there is the horrible dialogue and pisspoor characterization. The worst offender though is the nonexistent direction. Instead of using an episode to build the world and make some sense of the characters, we instead just get shitty quicknotes.

I really like the new OP/ED songs; the new ED has an intro lead-in just as good as the old one. The new OP animation is alright, but while the new ED is cute, it is kind of boring. Can't win 'em all.
