edit: This "WiiU loses 3rd party support" dont hit me that hard when the "support" is made of lame games like 3d castlevania and crysis.

Well, it's not like that should come as any surprise really. I doubt anybody bought a Wii U expecting it to get a huge amount of support from third parties. I'd say most people who buy Nintendo consoles do so to play Nintendo games, with the odd quality third party title being nothing more than a bonus.

At the very least this is the proper application of the joke. The offshoots of attributing diffrent series to each company are even less funny.

Actually surprised Konami is putting this on PC but no the Wii U, most likely its simply to keep the scope of the project limited. They don't want to have to deal with new hardware for a port of a game that is likely considered already risky.
