Absolutely. After the initial terror (and VERY cold water), I've acclimated to it. You could get a hot water version if you have a hot water pipe that's easily accessible (i dont').

How difficult is the installation?

Not hard, you just install a little T-junction to the bowl, and connect the hoses back up, took about 20 minutes with just a wrench.
