Oh shit.
These rumors are accurate, to my knowledge.
You mean ex liverpool devs? Some form a new studio called Sawfly. Both of those games take inspiration from Project Gotham Racing? Yeah, uh, ok.
I know the Studio Liverpool guys have something going on, Loudninja posted something about them having a new futuristic racer (not WipEout) IP in the works, but that doesn't like that at all.
http://www.thesixthaxis.com/2013/01/29/sawfly-studios-talk-wipeout-sony-liverpool-and-moving-on/And, then, the question were all asking. Whats happening with WipEout, and are Sawfly involved in any way? Were looking at a number of opportunities at the moment, came the tactful reply, and I would never write anything off, but youre right to say it is not on the table at Sawfly. Our focus is really on our first title, and on our own IP. We cant say too much about either right now, but the announcement will be coming soon on our first game.
PGR5 at launch of Durango would make me a happy gamer, but two PGR style racers by Ex Bizzarre guys on competing consoles at launch? Shits crazy.
PGR was such a graphical milestone on the 360...
This sequel is guaranteed to dislocate jaws!
Twist: You will play Visari. Quest : Kill Rico
Especially with an upgrade of dat engine.
I never said "secret sauce." And last I checked, most of the things I've posted had turned out to be true. That said, believe me or not.
PGR for next gen has been rumored forever and seemed to me to be more recently resurfaced in the forza OT by insider BADNED here. another 5 meaning not forza, pgr on its 5th iteration, pgr at launch tradition. also, lucid games teaser and now this. it all makes sense and makes me happy.
Is there a chance for PGR5 in the PS4 fellow GAFfers?
Is Lucid doing the lifting on their own or are they getting help? Because I can't believe they are doing the heavy lifting. These rumors are pretty accurate, according to my knowledge.

No. Microsoft owns the IP.
No kidding. PGR blew my mind when I first saw it.
Agreed. Polyphony Digital takes too long to deliver their product. If these guys deliver a product of similar or better quality in half the time...
They have owned it since the first PGR.I think Microsoft bought the IP from Bizarre when they were bought by Activision.

- Evolution working on PS4 racer, to be shown Feb 20
- Lucid Games working on new PGR for next Xbox, aiming for launch

Shit's getting real with the leaks. itshappening.gif
I think some of you will be pleased
I would love to see a return to form for Midtown Madness. I loved playing Midtown Madness on Xbox. The 8 player level in paris was cool.
Or maybe the Halo Kart. That could be fun... with crazy space levels, playable characters like Grunt and Baby Sarge.
Did you PM BruceLeeRoy?
