Oh fuck. This is going to be a "Didju riek it?"-level event, you guys. If 'Mogren' dramatically whips off his wig and moustache to reveal Kojima underneath the world will never be the same again.

i am not sure if it was mentioned before or if its even related. but did anyone notice that Joakim is the same as Kojima ? just different order?

Man, Im so hyped up again. Keighly interviewing Mogren follow by Kojima speech/announcement 2 weeks later?

Wasnt there a gaffer a few weeks back speculating that we are going to get more Phantom Pain and Ground Zeroes news now with an E3 trailer pulling the two together? I hope this happens.

I really hope whatever this will be, will be Konami dropping this dumb fake studio stuff, say it's it's just MGS5 so that subset of people will stop thinking otherwise, and announce it's coming to every home console.

Really don't think this smoke and daggers stuff is cute anymore.

I kind of feel like the Big Boss stuff has been taken too far.

Especially with the relevations of MGS4 I don't see what the point is of diving into Boss's past.

There was definitely a place for it in 3, slightly less so in Peace Walker but understandable.

Him being a main character for either TPM or Ground Zeroes seems completely unnecessary though..

I still think the whole Outer Heaven thing from his perspective would be interesting. One of the themes of Metal Gear since Metal Gear Solid has been misinformation. So maybe Big Boss wasn't as bad as it was made out to be in MG1 & 2 for example.

It was fun for the initial trailer and the "wtfness" of it initially, but in the age of the internet, everyone finding out it was a troll in the first few hours,and then still continuing with it like 3 months later just seems really silly and a waste of time to me at this point.

Here is the one thing though. GAF knew about it right away. I'm not saying everyone else hasn't figured it out, but I can imagine the "casual" hardcore fans that watch the VGAs but don't necessarily go on message boards to discuss games might still be in the dark.

I dont know. Im more hyped for both "games" because of it. Picking apart trailers, drawing insane conclusions, and reading others crazy theories takes me back to the Pre-MGS2 and MGS3 days when new game information wasnt just spoon fed to us. I like it.

Even if most people already figured it out.
I personally still think its pretty ingenious. It's nice to see him having a bit of fun with his game and its fan. I'd rather this the the usual here's a trailer get hyped.

Exactly! Pretty much every other developer spills the beans right away, it's great to have someone like Kojima in the industry.

MOGREN is ROMENG altering letters in same order than kojima. Googling ROMENG is very odd.

If they use a random guy claiming to be Joakim Mogren during that interview then I have a reason to believe that The Phantom Pain and Ground Zeroes are 2 different games because I see no reason for Kojima to keep it a secret if it was the same game. Kojima may not be ready to fully reveal the identity of The Phantom Pain because if it really turned out to be MGS5 then this will overshadow Ground Zeroes big time and you will end up with 1 game going head to head with the other specially if 1 is on PS3 and the other on PS4. Just my 2 cents.
