On the contrary I think fooling at least 453 gaffers to think you are CGI is quite an accomplishment as an actor.

Now that I've been watching it in HD properly on GT (instead of a crappy quality flipped video), it looks pretty darn real to me.
His eyes at times are still strange though, and I do still think an animator could animate his facial features in a convincing manner with the right tools however.
But eh, it was fun to speculate based on a crappy YouTube video.

Previously I saw the mirrored youtube video on my phone, when I said I'm inclined to side with TeamCG because I want to believe. But now I saw the GT one in HD on my calibrated monitor in full screen... yeah

For the record, there is actually no editing. You can repeat the experiment yourself with the video and advancing frames between 1:05:10 and 1:05:11.
Although it does somewhat ruin the comedic timing...
For the record, "the tooth is out there" had me rolling, especially since I was watching X-Files at the time.

I am talking about the bridge (is it called that in english?), the part of the nose that is between the eyes. It looks unnatural to me, and when I asked my GF that was the first thing she noticed too.

This does not make any sense to me, why would Kojima debut the Fox engine by showing off CG? Unless Joakim is made of realtime features of the Fox engine, now that would be godly.
Looking at it in HD and non-flipped definitely makes it look more real. However, there are still some really curious things.
First, even if it's real it doesn't seem like it was recorded it in the same room. The lighting, audio is all subtlety different.
Second, it's curious you see nothing of him except for the head and neck, and the remainder of the image is black on black.
Third, the whole iPad thing looks like it was filmed separately as well. In the "shock" scene I think I'd expect to see something - arm movement, the iPad, etc. There's no sense that there was actual body movement form the scene before (which there would have to be based on the positioning of the iPad and the hand controlling it.
Fourth, the hand is a bit more olive than the guys head. It's almost like it's really the hand of a Japanese dude...
So I'm still sticking with #TeamCG... What evidence there is seems to suggest, at a minimum, that something is "off" about the whole thing, and #TeamReal doesn't seem to offer any argument other than "if you think it's fake you are crazy" or "CG hasn't reached that level yet"... We'll see.... Damn, this whole thing is giving me a headache.

Edit: I also like to pretend that Kojima doesn't actually have a marketing team and he just sits awake, in the darkness, every night thinking of schemes like this to push his games and ideas.

All the things you mentioned can be explained by it more likely to be a fake interview. It's a PR stunt in the vein of a hammy pseudo-interview, complete with exaggerated acting and accent. It's perfectly in line with the whole fake CEO, fake company, and bandaged man that Kojima's marketing team has done so far, not to mention Kojima's history for crazy antics. That's why it's so "off". It's meant to be off.

This is why I still hold that this could be true. It was odd to pick GDC as the place to fully unveil the game and its "secrets", no? Normally Kojima would just hold off until E3.
