Did I? I remember asking about Accel World a few weeks back. I guess I missed that F/Z was part of that statement. Fail read.
Lower than $700? I think that's a pretty safe bet.
I think there'll probably be a "normal priced" set some time next year. Probably not before that. The dub is currently for Neon Alley and it will probably stay exclusive for quite a while.

Well they could release it Godoka Magica style, $60 for four episodes?
Doubt it will release in complete set like Durarara did for $150
Only way itd be low cost is if Viz releases it...though we dont know how these aniplex/viz things work as BLue Exorcist has yet to have its dub release on disc.

And so we come to the final battle of Onizuka's run. The reason, it turns out, that ALL his students have had ANY problems, stems from a certain Mr. Saito. Saito was last year's very beloved homeroom teacher who betrayed his students by 1)Having an affair with a student (and I suppose my condemnation is from a very different viewpoint, as teachers having affairs isn't treated as that big a deal in GTO, but I can only ever view it as a rank crime.) and 2)Denying the affair after getting the girl pregnant after telling his class he'd take full responsibility.
As it happens, the girl Mr. Saito knocked up (MIND YOU SHE IS WAS LIKE, 14-15, since Onizuka's class is 15-16ish from what I recall.) was Miyabi Izawa's best friend. So of course, Miyabi turns against adults (since her parents are in a loveless sham of a marriage and her beloved teacher had a fling with her best friend) and becomes the evil mastermind we've known all season.
This comes to a head because Miyabi's best friend commits suicide after discovering she's pregnant, and Mr. Saito cuts a deal with SEELE to go back to committing statutory rape on teenage girls. Everyone SAYS Mr. Saito was a nice man, but that's how predators always get described initially. Anyway, Miyabi gets fed up, and presumably stabs Saito with a tiny knife she got from Andrea from The Walking Dead.
She then takes the knife and threatens a member of SEELE and has a MASSIVE meltdown when Onizuka and her friends stop her. SEELE gets pissed at Onizuka saving his life and also not handing over Izawa, and now SEELE wants Mrs. Sakurai of NERV High School to turn over Evangelion Unit 0nizuka and Ikari Miyabi, or else they'll turn the whole school to orange tang.

If you mean an English dub only I would ask the person in charge of that decision to kindly "summon his persona".
If it was the Japanese dub only with subs I wouldn't mind. In fact I'd prefer them to cut the cost of hiring english voiceover actor if it meant cheaper releases.

Well, by the time a version with the dub would be coming out, the show will be a couple of years old. I don't think there will be much concern about Japanese fans importing the sets at that point.

I have to say, Phezzan's plan is pretty brilliant. It reminds me of Europa Universalis 3, where through tricky diplomacy you could ultimately gain a Casus Belli on the lands of interest. Have a pretender goverment arise in foreign land, providing justification for the invasion as well as a campaign event for the more patriotic citizens. Let's hope it works, because Reinhard would definitely increase his prestige and power that way.

Oh I forgot you have that reverse import issue. What they should do is just print the discs with the Stars n Stripes. One you'll save money on designing discs and two no one outside the US would want one.

attempted to murder his best friend's son, admitted to using his daughter to spy on his friend's other son, admitted that his jealousy was the reason that Kyouji fused with the Ultimate/Dark Gundam, as well as the raid that cost Mrs. Kasshu her life, that his selfish desire for power over the Dark Gundam, or rather credit for the Dark Gundam, and his jealous need to get out from under Dr. Kasshu's shadow, were the singular reason why Rain and Domon's quest was initiated.
In other words,
Everything that has happened now has been a part of Rain's dad's plan to steal the credit for the Dark Gundam, and that plan has utterly destroyed Domon's family.

A wild Saki appears. But really, they should have just made this two cours, because I can't remember anything that happened in the original series anymore. lol
They already had to delay the final episodes because of the slow mangaka, so that's not really possible. Though considering Achiga-hen's low quality, I'm glad its almost over.
Manga spoilers.
I still can't believe Ritz had the worthless Achiga beat Shirotodai, the main antagonists of the series.

people thought the ringo dude was assistant? I thought it was made clear it was the younger version of the professor dude, comment about going way back, the watch, etc. Anyway he was really cool and amazing easily second best character. But finally having assistant back in the plot and even that spoken line, lovely.

It'd make sense if this wasn't a spin-off. They've undermined what was supposed to be the main antagonist for the finals, making Shirotodai look weak. Simply making the finals would have been a victory for Achiga, ending it with them having a comeback to 2nd place would have been a fine ending.

It doesn't matter though, because the final is all going to be about Saki and her sister anyway. The other two teams are just going to get rolled over.
It's why if there is going to be another spinoff, it almost makes sense to
use whomever will make the finals on "Side B" as the protagonists of the spinoff.

Somehow, this is one of those things that cements the fact that I'm getting closer to the major events in the series. This is definitely a case that's interesting to revisit once you know about all of the things that happen in the future. (Plus, it's just a really good case with a very inventive murder method, although parts of it haven't really aged as well due to corded phones playing a big role)
Not to mention, Conan mistakenly thinking Ran has a thing for Araide is hilarious. You don't normally get to see him acting the way he does in these episodes.
