More speculah:
It doesn't matter though, because the final is all going to be about Saki and her sister anyway. The other two teams are just going to get rolled over.

It's why if there is going to be another spinoff, it almost makes sense to
use whomever will make the finals on "Side B" as the protagonists of the spinoff.
Especially since the original is going to be so slow. lol
A lot of this stems from my dislike of the Achiga characters, they are pretty much the least interesting school in the series. Seeing them take down the champions and undermine the main conflict of the series doesn't sit well with me. Eh. whatever. By the time there's enough material to adapt the next season of Saki, I'll have forgotten about it.

Today's foreshadowing:
Tessa has an older brother! And he is:
-Overly Protective
-Smart as Hell
-Not fond of Healthy Relationships!
He's also one of the main bad guys!

Sousuke, Tessa, Chidori and Takuma are in Jindai High for most of this episode, until Chidori's phone brings the villains to them, making life suddenly much more difficult for Sousuke. Also established in this episode is that Tessa is in fact, Caucasian. We'll later learn that Tessa is American, as evidenced by the fact that she's paler than Chidori and Sagara. Her white hair, we might assume, is actually meant as an anime stand in for VERY pale blonde hair, just as Chidori's blue hair is an anime stand in for black hair. Still up in the air about whether or not Sousuke IS middle eastern or not. He was raised there, but since the KGB found him on a plane, it's hard to say much about his origins.

The main antagonist isn't really Shirotodai though, it's Teru and she dominated her match. The only other member of Shirotodai that matters is their captain and she was dominating for the majority of the match as well.

from the new world 1 - 2 (rewatch)

Its so good seeing them all again when they were in the school and such. Episode 2 still my favorite episode, Satorus personality is award winning and the whole cantus ball rolling match so memorable.
didnt realize they hinted about maria even this early

Kids in the Slope 7

Definitely the best episode. Though it felt like a final episode, a perfect ending to an anime, so I dont really know where they can go from here. The performance was memorable.

Those were some Super Mario long jumps Miho was pulling off there. What the hell was that?

Miho you dumbass. There's just one of their tanks conspicuously in the middle of the city. It was almost pathetic how obvious a trap it was. And you, for some reason, decided to pursue it, only to encounter a fucking WAR MACHINE. You look pretty fucked, and you deserve it. You're gonna win, cause that's how it's gonna end, but if you were to lose, it would be your fault and the school would close. Good work.

So the next week is a crossover with One Piece and Dragonball as well. Might as well throw Naruto in there and call it Jump Allstars.

They never get to Souske's big back story, how he wound up a child soldier, in the anime. It's pretty fucked up though, I totally understand why he is how he is after reading it. If you don't mind a small spoiler I can say that he is

Embracing in the garden. :D

Halfway through the show and having a blast so far. Kuroko continues to be my favorite with her yuri-licious hijinks. I just pray for the day to come when she can have her way with Mikoto. Speaking of Mikoto, what a badass with her clutch thinking in that last fight.

The Side A characters are kind of forgettable, but a bit of that stems for the breezy pace of the story. I dunno, I just don't have a problem with what supposedly happens in the manga, since that's supposed to serve as a definitive ending to the series.

Regardless, I still think this initial plan to do delayed episodes or whatever is a bit of nonsense. But then again, I guess OreImo is doing the same thing as well (as did KokoPuffs Connect, come to think of it).

I haven't finished GuP yet, so this may be a bit preemptive, and I know they haven't said anything about another season yet, but...there's gonna be another season, right? It seems like a decent seller, and it seems like a show they could milk a second season out of.

Haganai NEXT 12 (fin)

First bit with the student council girls was nothing too special, but I guess they wanted a wind-down period before jumping back into things.
Second half was pretty good though.
The Yukimura scene was amusing, and
gave us some clear confirmation of Yukimura crushing on Kodaka rather than wanting to be like him. We could take that for granted really, but it was nice to see anyway. I wonder if Yukimura can become more active, or if that's even a good idea.

And then, the
Rika
stuff. That was funny in multiple ways.
Obviously all the harem protagonist jokes, but also that they did the "men face off in the setting sun and become friends with their fists" scene, but one of them wasn't a man and used mad scientist remote-controlled superballs instead of her her fists. And of course, holy shit at Rika's line when she--

Rika not only took over as the main heroine this last episode, but also took over as the main character. When she yells "I need a friend", she refers herself as "boku". No other character refered himself or herself as "boku." Kodaka - "Ore", Yozora - "watashi", Sena - "Atashi", Yukimura - "Watakushi", Kobato - "Ware", Maria - "Watashi" in Katakana. Rika referred herself as her own name until this last episode.
This. Boku wa tomodachi ga sukunai.
I wonder how significant that really is. Was it just a simple reference for fun or does this mean big things for
Rika
? Is this the beginning of something for her, or the end of her story? It feels more like the latter, but if that's the case then the title doesn't mean as much.

Anyway,
the episode doesn't conclude any romance questions, but having two of them actually admit to being friends was a turning point theme-wise. I wonder where things are going to go with that next.

That was fun, I like this season a lot more than S1.. I dunno what so offensive really, unlike Sakurasou I don't felt the enraging feeling, there was drama in last arc but its in much lower tone and quite fit, this show about awkward kids afterall and Rika suddenly became lead girl, what not to like.

Will look forward to another season.
Yeah no real complaints here. It was overall better than season one. I mean, sure, the last episode
completely avoided the actual topic of Sena's confession, so that's still hanging, along with the new topic of Yozora running away, but oh well. Just means it's a cliffhanger for the next novel to handle.

------------------------------------------
Speaking of which, people keep referring to novel vol. 9 as "delayed indefinitely," but bookstores are all showing it coming out April 25th, same day at Buriki's Haganai artbook.
And looking at the blank squares on web pages where the illustrations should be for (a) the cover of vol. 9, (b) the tapestry coming with the artbook at Melonbooks, and (c) all the Buriki store-bonus items for buying the anime BDs, I have to wonder if the novel is a casualty of Buriki art delays, not author delays.

Also while looking around at novel stuff, I noticed there already exists a harem light novel called "King Real," (i.e. King Lear), the title Yozora give Hidaka Hinata in Haganai for being the ultimate fulfilled-real-lifer.

------------------------------------------

haven't watched S2 but still convinced she's still the best
e4hjrYf.jpg

c'mon guys.
Oh she gets lots of attention in S2.

I didn't like Rikka in Season 1 but she is my favorite character in Hanagai now. She is kinda similar to Ami in Toradora, as the person who has full grasp on a whole situation.
Yeah I felt the same way re: similarity to Ami.

_____________
To finsh off: it was a fun and funny season, better than the first. Originally, I always assumed there would only be two seasons of Haganai, but now I'm really hoping they can make a third. They can call the next season "Boku ha Tomodachi ga Sukunai TRY" lololol
Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai Try confirmed lol.
Dammit.

Wasn't the delayed episode thing because they were waiting for Ritz to finish more material? I'm not sure they had many better options, well other than expanding the remaining material to another 12 episodes. And while hese 4 episodes were rushed, but doing that many episodes would be stretching it too far.

i have this HUGE smile of my face ..so good .

Where is ep 16 ??? where is it ?

Looks like Road to Ninja got translated, probably watch the full thing tomorrow though I'm pretty much satisfied with already seeing RTN Hinata and Sasuke.

Even if it was for only for like 5 minutes.

Date a Live Ep 1

Ending: Sucked completely, probably the worst one I've heard in a while.

Haven't watch any PV's but I'm pretty much satisfied with the voices for Shidou, Reine, Kotori, and Tohka. Episode itself was mixed, really thankful I've been reading the novel too or else I might have been a lot more disappointed and probably would have dropped it by now. I do love that song that played when Tohka appeared, hope it returns again when she comes back next time.

Do they bring that up in the books or in the manga? I'm up to date on Sigma, and they talk about
Kalinin's relationship with him, and his time with the Mujhadeen, and the plane crash, but I don't remember beyond that.

Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam 10

OH SNAP EVEN BRIGHT NOA KNOWS WHO YOU ARE "QUATTRO". Oh, and they bring a girl named Fa onboard the ship. I guess she's there to make some tension between Emma and Kamille. Or Haro and Kamille. You never know about that Haro guy.

Also, Cmdr. Jamaichon, in addition to having a silly name, is a loveable jerkwad if ever I saw one. He's just such an unrepentant JERK it's hard to hate him.

haha, Jamaica Man's just the first of the corporate peons Tomino uses as a punchbag. I'm sure there are a few more later—maybe even that patsy Paptimus, though it's been a while.

It's the

and the immediate aftermath where you learn it.

Yu-Gi-Oh! ZeXal II 84

Oh look, another episode of the protag moping around and him needing someone to get him out of his rut. Not like this didn't happen before in the first season.

Good ending, I guess. Though who didn't see it coming down to Miho and her sister, and one final shot for each of them?

Miho's a better person than me, so I understand why she didn't do this, but if my family was planning to disown me cause I wasn't playing the sport in "the family way", but I ended up winning the championship, I would milk that for all it was worth. Like, I would go to the next family gathering, invited or uninvited, with the trophy draped around my neck, the school flag on my back, and "CHAMPION" written on my forehead and on the chest of my shirt. Then I would eat all of the food, saying "Sorry, this meal is reserved for CHAMPIONS!" And then if my sibling rival tried to engage me, I would totally ignore them, at some point saying to myself, "Sure sucks that I can only hear CHAMPIONS! This place is so boring with all these LOSERS! Wish there were other CHAMPIONS here, so I could actually speak with fellow CHAMPIONS and not hang out with these LOSERS!" Then I would have my teammates show up in their tanks with championship flags blasting "We Are The Champions", then have them come out and hoist me on their shoulders and carry me around everywhere. And when somebody was within the 20 feet in front of us, they would yell "Watch out, CHAMPIONS coming through!" Also, I'd poop on their doorstep.
