Sibyl is by far the prettiest in a show filled with beautiful women. Honorable mention to the slave girl in season one that got abused by Batiatius in the bathtub while Lucretia watched.

And in the spirit of the show, which gives equal nudeness to both genders, Gannicus is by far the prettiest man on the show, so Sibyl and he make a perfect couple. That pirate dude that wants Nasir is also quite the looker.

Just finished episode 4. This season has been way better than the abysmal season 3. It's not quite up to seasons 1 and 2, but pretty good.

Am I the only one that actually enjoyed Season 3? That episode where they bring down the arena is probably one of the best Spartacus episodes, definitely top 3 for me. I think having to move on from Andy, old Naevia, and Batiatus subconsciously brought it down more than anything else :(.

That episode in particular is one of my favorite Spartacus episodes ever, it was great. It's the weakest link of the four and it was hard to adjust to NuNaevia and NuSpartacus but I still liked it alot

I'm actually wondering whether S3 will be better on rewatches now that I've grown attached to Liam and the "new" Naevia.

Lucy's been my favourite so far (i'm not even kidding). It's probably the continuation of my Xena warrior princess infatuation since childhood or something. She looks better irl than she did in the show though, silly hair.

That was really the only good episode in season 3 IMO. I found everything else terribly contrived and predictable.

And as you say, the unavoidable cast change was very off-putting at first.

editied my spoilers for safety of everyone lol. prepare for tears on friday though

As we've already discussed in this thread, the soundtrack listings contain some huge spoilers. If people could please refrain from posting them in the thread (spoiler tagged or not), it'd be appreciated. Thank you.

I actually loved Season 3 too.

After a couple seasons in the arena I was ready to move on personally.

I really liked it. It just shows the quality of the entire show that even the 'weakest' season had such awesome episodes. Most of it is just people reacting to the change from Andy to Liam though.

Lots of lovely ladies on the show, but what about some of the past beefcake?

My personal favorite, and someone I feel is very underrated was Auctus, played by Josef Brown.

Regarding a spinoff series:

Caesar spin-off would be great, I have a love/hate relationship but they'd have to get the same actor that currently plays Caesar. I can't believe tomorrow is the end. This last season has been great and Liam has done a damn good job (as close as anyone could) to re-capturing Andy playing Spartacus. Also, Sura was my favorite girl on the show.

Let's hope we get that spin-off and both Liam and Dustin quickly find new action shows so we don't need to miss Spartacus too much. They really should try to get Liam on Arrow for a guest stint too: Liam versus Stephen Amell (himself a candidate to replace Andy as Spartacus)

Here's hoping Starz threw a ton of money at this final episode. I can't quote imagine the finale being more epic than any other episode this season, but you never know...

I don't know why
maybe it was the six-pack I drank
, but this made me lol.
Well, deKnight is working on a sci-fi series called Incursion for Starz, so why not have Space Gannicus, Space Crixus, Space Spartacus and Space NAgron (I'm lazy). Naevia can show up if she can stop being angry.

That's a funny interview, especially the end.

That being the case, surely you still have a curse that you love.
Liam: Oh yeah, but I can’t say it here. This is polite conversation!

Todd: I’m not going to lie; I had one of those times of pure enjoyment. One of my lines was amusing was “I stand as any cock should, hard and sure of purpose.” That’s pretty cool. [Laughs.]

Liam: OK, it was in Vengeance, when Donar says, “You had me at whores.” It’s such a great little line, he just throws it out there, and it sort of sums up so many people’s attitude towards Spartacus. [Laughs.]
