Seriously, while all the DMC games have comfortably sold well over a million units worldwide -- with VF4 struggling, and even the well advertised Resistance going slow -- I think it's the best for Capcom.

the PS3 has underperformed in sales and the X360 has a large established base in the US - it seems to be that simple : Capcom are about making money, so releasing DMC4 to a limit next gen base when porting across is straight forward makes no sense to them right now.

To anyone with a brain in their head this shouldn't have come as a suprise really. Oh I'm sure there was a small chance the game could have remained exclusive to PS3 if sony had pony'd up some cash or if the PS3 was selling more then 200,000 systems a month worldwide but sony isn't paying 3rd parties this generation and capcom likes money.

The only question I'd have at this point is wether DMC1-3 will get some deluxe release on 360 now. Direct ports at a budget price sort of thing, just pump it into 720p with 4xAA.
