I am imagining all the hotshots gathered around Larry's laptop, all with different ideas about how to answer.

"No, Don we have not yet decided"

"But, Phil!"

"I say no Don, now type Larry type!"

What the fuck does that even mean.

Hi Larry. There seems to be some confusion in the media on how frequently users must connect to the internet to use the Xbox One. Will this be as frequent as once a day as rumored or will we be able to use the console for extended periods of time without an active connection? Thank you.

They were in a tough spot; either keep quiet and keep the rumors going or address them but don't have anything concrete. Either way they were fucked. Sony is laughing at this stuff because they have been on cruise control for months now without any gaming journalists grilling them like MS is getting.

Bullshit. They see the outrage, either be forward with what you are doing, change your policies, or shut-up. This middle ground where they want to be vague while there are already comments out there is killing them

I've asked if I can carry on sharing disks between me and my son with the 2 Xbox 360's we have in the house.. I suspect the answer is 'no'..

Good question. I also suspect he will never answer that question but answer a question along the lines of "What was your inspiration for the console to be colored black instead of white?"

Eh, this is pointless but at least they are visible. Sony has been a ghost since February.

Where have you been these past months? Sony have talked to media, shared tech info about the console, the controller and the camera. They posted a teaser trailer the day before the Xbox reveal even. Ghosts? I think not.

Yup. I'm out. This is dumb.

My questions:
How does Microsoft plan to cultivate a platform for the Japanese market? How important is the Japanese market for Microsoft?
What is the relationship between Microsoft and indie developers, what tools will Microsoft offer?
How important are third party relations, including exclusive titles and content, going forward, for Microsoft?
