Killzone: Shadow Fall vs. COD: Ghosts

Killzone looks like a next generation title. Ghosts looks like a current gen game running at 1080p 60 FPS on PC.

i will just leave this here

So I'm not saying you're wrong, it's not impossible, but you're proposing something that's very very very different than what's been going on for the last 6 or 7 years.
I do think that if KZSF is as fun to play (and 60 fps is a big part of that), it can match COD due to launch release...I agree it would not have a chance 4 years down the line, but many people who buy PS4 at launch will be very interested in Sony franchises.

wow, already? LEt's wait for a KZ4 vs. H5 thread.... 1st party Sony games will be superior shortly into next gen launches by optimizing the specs PS4 has to offer. Multi-plats will mostly be made at XB1 specs..

In screenshots Killzone looks much better, but in person and playing the game? I would probably prefer COD:Ghosts because it is 60fps.

30 fps vs 60 fps, next-gen graphs vs current gen graphs, no dog vs dog...

don't care for none of that, pretty sure I'll enjoy both

Bloodborne is shit
If Guerilla can make KZ 60 fps, I honestly believe they have a shot at outselling COD Ghosts on the PS4 (obviously not total sales of a multiplatform game)

Not only is the idea that KZ will ever approach CoD numbers hilarious, the idea that this will be achieved because of frame rates is just spectacular.

Killzone looks leagues better but I'd rather play through every COD back to back without food than sit through another Killzone.

Ghosts didn't look at all impressive to me. For something targetting 60fps it doesn't look *bad*, just unimpressive.

Imagine you get a dream job, working in game industry. And then, you are making same looking COD games for the rest of your life.

Out of everything they could possibly show, they show CoD? Seriously? It didn't do them any favours.

Killzone 2 probably looks better than Ghosts...but Killzones look better than a lot of things.

I'm getting so tired of COD, even though its still fun to me, that I'm ready to go in a new direction next gen so I'm more excited for kzsf.

Though if a game like drive club can do to racing games what cod 4 did for fps last gen, id happily go back to playing racing games most of the time.

They both look great. Killzone 2 definitely has more going on screen, but Call fof Duty has some spectacular looking lighting along with 60 frames per second.

We still don't know the resolution of either, however. It's going to be hard to tell until we get better looks at the games.
