Actually I wouldn't mind Lightning in Versus for a few seconds..... just for Noctis to dodge all of her attacks and hit her once to see her fall. And as he has his foot on top of her he says:

"The evil has been vanquished. I'm the star of Final Fantasy now... bitch."

And then from the shadows like Jack the Ripper, Toriyama emerges and yells "get your foot off my Waifu."

That moment Nomura decends from the heavens, like an angel, and says "we must now forget her". Then the final boss battle commences between the Noctis/Nomura team and the Lightning/Toriyama lovers.

I found her to be a sulky, childish idiot in the body of a grown woman. Her constant bitching, aggressiveness, storming off and moping around made me utterly detest her. The earnest optimism of the leads from IX and XII, despite being clearly a little naive, strike more of a chord with me than endless 'edgy' and 'dark' emo fuckwittery. I'm not a fan of other mopey leads like Squall or Cloud either, to be fair. It stopped being cool about 15 years ago.

1 dimensional, no impact, no real redeeming qualities about her besides being a female version of Cloud. She is by far one of the worst. She's constantly being a bitch and acting emo and i was over it.

No, Lightning Returns will be at SE's booth, any other new games (incl. Versus) will be during press conferences. They're different.

Nah, she sucks. Overly aggressive, cardboard personality, and ultimately boring. There's a difference between a tough character, which is what they wanted her to be, and a dumbass character which is what she ended up being.
