I don't see why so many people are upset. The game wouldn't have mainstream appeal with an all-classical soundtrack. Sure, it removes some fidelity from its source material, but it's a tradeoff.

Harmonix has a good track record, so I'm looking forward to seeing how this turns out.

I read that first quote and I don't see why a 360/Xbone first party game doesn't necessarily count. All he says is that games on the 360 are not part of that 15 figure, but that doesn't rule out first party games that are cross gen.

That said this isn't a first party game so yeah its obviously not part of that figure.

This was not what my childhood self expected.
Very disappointing. I was hoping for epic Stravinsky controlled with all appendages. Sped up and slowed down based on my movements

I immediately saw the Fantasia inspiration, but I still need to see more before I decide. The thing I liked about Rock Band: you actually felt like you were rocking. Dance Central: You really felt like you were dancing and connecting to the music. For this: you'll have to use a little more imagination to feel like you're controlling the music like Mickey did in Fantasia.

That trailer was abysmal. Showed nothing but "cool" kids kinecticulating with enhanced visuals to make their actions seem more exciting. Picture them in a living room with wood paneled walls and worn shag carpet as the real versions of them (i.e. the uglier ones with the hand-me-down clothes with stains and actual tears as opposed to intentional "distressing") flail their flabby arms at the screen and kick over KFC buckets full of greasy fat and batter crumbs and empty Pepsi bottles as they try to get Sebastian to play Under the Sea correctly onscreen but he won't because this is kinect 1.0 and so it can't handle their caffeine and sugar-fueled spazzing.

This shit gonna sell.
