Because literally every E3 conference has been awful for like, half a decade?

A Nintendo direct, with no awkward presenters parading up and down a stage for minutes at a time, cringe inducing "hosts" or "celebrities" messing everything up, sounds like heaven to me.

I will never forgive James Cameron for eating up SO MUCH FUCKING TIME at Ubi's press conference years ago, and bumping off NMH2 from having it's E3 trailer being shown.

They are holding a conference, but it's just for business partners and isn't open to the media or general public.

I would guess that it contains sales forecasts and the stuff most people don't really care for.
