I wont be on for a while.

I just took my avatar into Photoshop, took Daylight's Day One image, put it over the top and ran the "Exclusion" layer effect on the Day One.

Bam.

Maybe you need to know what digital distribution mean, the difference between that and physical distribution and why third party publishers don't like physical distribution.

And I don't want Microsoft go back, I want they can go further, I want to know what they can do with their plan.

I really hope that MS doesnt cave into the whiners and keeps pushing their vision. I am really excited to see where their visions goes this upcoming gen.

It's not PART of the console. Phones use cloud all the time, but Google can't advertise their androids as the most powerful just because they have probably the biggest cloud service in the world. It's plainly, false advertising.

But it is technically a feature of the console.

Forza is apparently using Cloud to create better AI for each player without having to use local resources to create that.

Dedicated servers is apparently available to every game.

There are already some tangible applications, we just need to see where this goes.

Freeing up latency insensitive things from the local hardware allows that hardware to optimize other portions of a game.

Do I know what other things devs are going to try and offload? No, but that's part of what's interesting about it.

That really depends on what you mean by the "cloud". In terms of general purpose servers; i.e. servers that allow you to watch YouTube videos, perform a Google search etc... then sure they're the biggest.

But for actual cloud compute services, Google are still behind Amazon and Microsoft.

Just think about it, the only one console that devs know there will be an internet connection an cloud servers available for their games, is Xbox One. It is like Kinect, devs know that Kinect will be there, always, not like Xbox 360 or PS4.

And "cloud" means a lot of different things, Gaikai is cloud, Skydrive is cloud, gmail is cloud, Chrome O.S. is cloud. What phones use is a kind of cloud usage.

Justification of a $399 purchase. Console wars are back in a big way because of the prices. Most people just can't afford to spend a grand for both, and will justify their purchase by slamming another's. I get it. It's just annoying.

so many avatar trends in the past month lol. still remember the incredible amount of Only on Xbox (and then only on playstation and only for Wii) that were going around before the first wave of meltdowns. good times.

There's something about that Killer Instinct reveal trailer that I can't explain why I like it.

I don't even like fighting games, but just something about it that makes me rewatch it.

Maybe in the back of my head, I'm hoping other Rare titles are coming back, but I keep telling myself that is never going to happen.

Speaking of avatars, they haven't mentioned one thing about them. Haven't seen them at either the reveal or E3. They must be part of the information they're staggering out as the launch date approaches.
