What fan translations are you depending on?

All this Final Fantasy Type-0 fan translation jazz got me thinking...

Where the hell is that Samurai Spirits RPG translation? It was this storied game of legend at one time and I was wondering what the general hold up is? Is it actually shit? *stares at unused NeoCD version*

What games that never received an official localization are you hoping a fan translation team picks up?

Edit: Crisis generally averted!

Ace Attorney Investigations 2 (the lead hacker on that is really nice and helpful to other aspiring fan-translators and hackers, too!) - Capcom doesn't see how it would be a profitable venture

Phantasy Star Online 2 - SEGA isn't going to let this one out in America.

Yakuza 5. I guess it would be fan only, wondering if Sega would ever bring it over.

Definitely relied on that for Kenzan!

I've been waiting on a Saga 3 translation for the DS for ages. Thought it was dead but then the translator posted a minor update about a month ago...

Gotta keep hope alive!

Tales of Vesperia for PS3, I have never felt so burned about not getting two new characters and all the other add-ons that ought to have been in the 360 version. I understand there was version agreements made but I'm so set on this fan translation I can't even play the original 360 version amazing as it is because I know I'm not playing the complete ToV game.

Captain Rainbow (will be released in 2020 at this rate)
Ace Attorney Investigations 2

And I still need to play the Fire Emblem DS2 one, but I doubt I will get to it anytime soon.

I bought a copy of To Heart 2 XR many many years ago, assuming that since it was a sequel to such a popular visual novel, there'd surely be a translation patch.

This...never actually came to fruition. And thus my $80 was wasted.

These are the big two I'm still waiting on, as well as the remaining untranslated Fire Emblems (4 and 5).

EDIT: This thread made me realize I haven't checked out romhacking.net in awhile to see what games have been translated recently; looks like Konami Wai Wai world has been translated. Nice, gonna import.

Can anybody please enlighten me on why Type-0 has gained this TLG/Versus (pre-E3) status of legend? What makes it so special?

Currently waiting patiently for Majikoi, Daiteikoku, Ataraxia, and Rance Quest if that ever happens.
Also had hope for Eiyuu Senki but it got DMCAd T_T.

...Pretty much 85% of the Super Robot Wars/Taisen franchise. Hakai-hen and Saisei-hen, please? I bought the UMDs, I just...can't get into it when I don't know what's going on, and reading a translation guide along with playing a game just takes me too far out of the game to enjoy it.

Did something happen with a fan translation for type 0?

There's already a pretty good* FE4 translation, and supposedly a more complete version is underway. FE5's fan translation is rougher (for example, the menus are not in English) but it's good enough to get you through the story. And I see you've now been linked to FE6.

*"Good" in terms of functionality. I can't speak to the technical quality of the translation.

12Riven - a visual novel co-written the writer of 999 and Virtue's Last Reward.

I saw a few months ago that someone is working on a translation. I'm assuming it'll be a while before it's done though.
