Whether CBOAT was inferring it will be good or bad news is entirely up to interpretation due to the wording.
The only definite good news from the post was that the Black Tusk game is looking good.

You Bet!. After the shit they tried to pull they deserve it. I'm glad for the people that are going to buy one that they are getting a much better console and situation than they were going to, but fuck everyone involved in making those decisions and policies. Mostly screw the attitudes that came from MS about all of it and how we all just need to settle down and take what we are given.
I think they still deserve to take some crap and a sales hit to re-enforce the whole issue. They don't need to go under or anything but I'm still not sure they get it.
That has always been on the back of my mind.

I'd have to imagine CBOAT is in a very high level position, or have a very high level source.
I say that because yield issues seems to be a very tightly guarded secret within the industry, so only a handful of MS execs would be in the know regarding what kind of yields they are getting.

Agreed. He said the cancellation would make you say "wow" so I thought it was good news. Whatever it is, it's huge because even he/she doesn't want to leak it here, so it must be contained to a very small group of people at the moment.
CBOAT and this thread in particular are the reason I joined neogaf. But after watching all the Juniors who I assume joined around the same time as me get banned, I mostly just lurk and try not to post anything to shill-y.

I knw a few people joked that CBOAT could be one of the journalist out there. Preferably Adam Sessler.
I don't think he's in the know that well. Sounds more like a friend of a higher up that either has loose lips or seriously doesn't like to work for MS

Yea, supplements are discussed. But their are two segments of bodybuilding, natural and geared. The latter take steroids and other drugs. Some of the "naturals" use drugs to give them a competitive edge while still claiming they don't take any hormones. He more or less exposes and talks about the taboos of bodybuilding such as gay4pay and drug addiction.

What if CBoaT is the neglected foreign wife of a Microsoft Exec? This is just her way of getting back at her husband. Taking what information he tells her, and putting it on GAF, and essentially trying to make a breadcrumb trail back to her husband to get him fired. He also did something similar right before E3 - said he might have more rumors right on the eve of the show but needed a few days to get more concrete sources. This sounds about the same.

In the first post, CBOAT said mid-September there would be huge news. If he is referring to the same news and it has been moved up to a convention week, it's pretty safe to assume that it will be good news.
I guess we'll find out next week!
