It's fantastic and IMHO much more immersive on iPad (dark room and headphones).
Keep your iPhone handy for the companion app tough (mandatory).
Thanks, I'll have to check it out then!

THE INCIDENT is a fast-paced, retro-style action game. Run, dodge and jump your way to safety as an angry rain of just about everything in the world falls and builds a mountain of platforms for you to climb up, up… up to the source of it all: the cause of THE INCIDENT.
Yeah, it's very charming. I'm at the final 5 stages and got 3 stars in all the previous ones. Glad I got it during the sale.Goddamn Tiny Thief is really really good. Do we know if they'll add any new levels?
I'm only 10 or 11 levels deep, but it keeps prompting me to pay to unlock certain plants from the first game.
Do these become available via regular play later in the game, or are some plants permanently behind the pay wall?
Those plants are only available by buying them, but you can finish the game without them.
CONS: Required precision may not be for everyone.
Wasn't someone in the hardcore gamer community NeoGAF complaining about PvZ2 being impossible to beat without IAP...uhm...yesterday?
Is Chrono Trigger a really bad port? I cannot get past the controls and I'm wondering how people get past death peak? I want it so badly on my iPhone 5.
Was eyeing this for the OP a while back but didn't find any impressions I trusted at the time. I'll revisit it.
Kid Tripp looks AWESOME.
Does it control as well as Mickey Hooks?
edit: took one for the team:
So, you actually don't control the left/right movement and while that was a bummer at first since I'm sick of runners, thanks god it really isn't one of them per se: while the kid auto walks left to right, it's what I'd call a sidescrolling adventure similar to the Rayman Jungle Run's kind of the auto runners. Think Bit Trip Runner. It reminds me of Wonder Boy 1 (SEGA's arcade version), you control the jumps, sprint and throwing rocks and you have a limited numbers of lives and coins to collect like the classic platformers. Runs at 60fps, looks super cute, leaderboards based... And I had difficulty in passing World 1-5... be prepared cause the game is FREAKISHLY HARD! I enjoy challenging games but this is something else, holy fuck!
The game makes it really easy to go back to levels to collect all the medals, it really flows as far as a stop&go mode: it auto restarts the level until you've actually completed the goal to collect every coin and after that it auto selects the next level where you're still missing the collect-all-coins medal; this makes it much more enjoyable to just try to survive the levels in the main mode and after that try to collect everything in the specific LEVELS section.
No IAPS whatsoever, 99c, Universal and a whopping 7 MEGABYTES of space needed on your iDevice!
Just discovered this little but awesome game, The Incident. Stuff falls from the sky and you must avoid it, sounds lame but it's really exciting.
Right now it's free so give it a try!
It's almost like Beat Sneak in that you're tapping to the rhythm to avoid obstaclesHave you tried Geometry Dash? It's like the Impossible Game mixed with a rhythm game and elements like gravity flipping and rockets. Has a level editor and there are already some very difficult user levels.
Kid Tripp or Another World?

Only have $0.99, why I was asking. I'll probably get TrippCan't really compare the two, apart from both being "you'll die alot" games.
Another World you can finish in an hour if you know what you're doing. Love the game, an absolute classic. If you haven't played it I recommend it.
Kid Tripp is tons of fun too, but a completely different kind of game.

Got Kid Tripp, my one sentence review:
It's the charming and brilliant bastard child of The Impossible Game and Mario Bros.
DOT Space Hero is a charming, beautiful and most importantly, amazingly fun little iOS shmup. While there are many shooters available in the App Store, 1 Coin Studio has gone that extra mile to make sure that DOT is not only an excellent game, but an excellent game that has been designed around the iOS touch interface, rather than the other way around. The result is a truly wonderful piece of art that at this point I really cannot fault. Don't let the seemingly low number of stages put you off - you won't be breezing through DOT Space Hero and even once you've completed the game, you'll be coming back for more, if only to achieve triple stars on each stage by collecting all the available stardust (no mean feat) or improve on your Game Center leaderboard stats.
Can't finish a level in PvZ2 without my iPad 4 crashing ... Second level in Egypt ...
Is that a known problem ?
Oh shit, pretty cool but please update it with my revised version lol. Reading all those typos and shitty grammar on the OP was fucking embarrassing should be at the very least readable now, lol
Works fine on my iPad 4.
What, and censor the heat of the moment feels? No way!
Done
LOL fair enough
there's still some old parts on there, WHY?! Didn't check everything else but "A WHOLE 7 MB" is "A WHOPPING" in my post.... what a slacker you are, my friend
Btw, I HATE THE INCIDENT!
I remember couple of years ago I was so pissed to have wasted almost €4 on that crap just cause I was fascinated with the gfx.
YMMV tho, it's a pretty well liked game and I don't like 99.9% of iOS' tilt based games.
Woa, Worms 3 online multiplayer is so shitty that it made me uninstall the game.
How do I still trust on something that comes from Team17 is just puzzling.
Is FFV a good port?
Has Dot Space Hero been recommended here?
It's gotten great user impressions on Toucharcade. Been out since June but I think it's getting more recognition now. It's like a mix of Jetpack Joyride and a SHUMP, with a fantastic art style and leaderboards
$0.99 and no IAP. Here's a trailer.
Toucharcade review (4.5/5)
Got Kid Tripp and I am not disappointed. It has the Super Hexagon aspect that gets you into a zone while playing. On 1-3, almost beat that one in one try! Tight controls, smooth platforming, and a challenging test of timing and reflex.Got Kid Tripp, my one sentence review:

I straight up copy/pasted what was in your post this morning (which was "Last edited by Dash Kappei; Yesterday at 11:48 PM").
your post and the OP still says "No IAPS whatsoever, 99c, Universal and a whole 7 MEGABYTES of space needed on your iDevice!" I'm not sure which side-dimension you're browsing.
Youll be managing your spy network thats operating in occupied Europe, Rocha says. You establish spy bases in different cities and develop them, and you recruit spies and can launch missions from your bases. But the more connections you make between your bases and your headquarters, the more the Gestapo will be able to trace back when they compromise one of your agents or bases."
PlayRaven are keen for the agents to be at the very center of your experience, like your players are in Football Manager, or your squaddies in XCOM. Because the Gestapo will follow clues to connect your agents to one another, youll be able to cut connections and close down operations or burn your own spies to save agents higher up in your network. And PlayRaven want those decisions to hurt.
Because its an iPad game, we want to make it so when you open up the app you can glance at the screen and remember what you were doing last time, says Rocha. We really admire Battle of the Bulge for that reason. Theres no hidden information in that game, you always remember what your strategy was when you come back to it because its all right in front of you.
Pulled the trigger on Pirate Legends.
Was already disappointed in the art style (I mean, it's detailed and elaborate and well animated but it lacks the charm of Kingdom Rush), and then I unlocked the first hero and it was like kiiiiiind of a racist caricature.
Feels bad man.
Build an awesome fortress, stuff it with soldiers, catapults and whatnot, and lead your army into battle in devious turn-based combat!
Pocket tactics has an article on a cool spy network management game currently in development for iOS. The game just entered alpha status. Here are some choice quotes:
This following quote reminded me of something Pitta mentioned recently:
Alan Wake Team Lead?
Lead Designer worked on Quantum Break?
Name dropped Civilization, XCOM, Agricola, and King of Dragon Pass?
Is this real life?
