For anyone that can't wait for transport tycoon, give transport general a look. It's 89 cents but well worth it.

So far it's pretty deep, the only downside I found is the small text on an iPhone 5, guess the game on an iPad would be even better.

Would people be interested in an iOS version of Heckmeck/Pickomino? Currently sitting on a playable prototype but will need to put cash in to take it further.

Works as you'd expect having played the game.

For those that don't know it, it's a great dice game but isn't really playable when travelling. It's kind of like Yahtzee but there is risk with each roll and you can lose/steal tiles from your opponent.

I really enjoy the game, just not sure how big the fanbase is or if it's worth investing my own money to bring it to iOS.

Absolutely yes. I own a physical copy and I'd love an iOS version!

Anyone playing Smash Bandits? I'm actually kind of enjoying it and I didn't really like the other 2 Smash games

Dropchord just dropped to .99 cents. Time to try this out...

Quick impressions, I friggin hate the menu. It's like an annoying Kinect based menu system, but for some reason on a touch screen. I get this is because the game was designed for that motion system, but still. Dumb. The game itself seems neat, but I didn't try it much yet.

Oh wow, finally got around to M&M Clash of Heroes - sunk 15+ hours into it this weekend. What a fantastic game! Did not expect it to be so meaty.

Also playing a lot of PvZ2. Bought the freeze-pea shooter out of nostalgia, but otherwise finished the campaign unaided by IAPs - was a bit of a grind at times. Still fun stuff.

Hows the loading on it? Gave up on the PS3 version because of the long ass loading screens all the time.

Yeah, menus are dumb. But I enjoy the game and it has some nice beats.

Smash Bandits freemium model doesn't bother me cause I don't really play it much at a time, so the cooldown thing doesn't affect me all too much

Another Transport General post, here's some screenshots:
As someone who has played TTDx for 1000s of hours, and still play it every so often to this day... this looks interesting!

The proper Transport Tycoon port though, that's the one I'm really looking forward to.

I may be lttp on this one, but Rayman has added three level packs (for free) since release, so if you've not played since that first week, there's a whole other game waiting for you. Great levels too, hard as fuck. I'm currently bouncing between this and Ms Splosion Man, I'm determined to finish that game, it's so good and so hard.

Got all achievements in Tiny Thief but it says I have "21 of 26", so I guess that confirms there are new levels to come.

The
outtakes video
after you get all the stars is cute.

You are missing out the secret achievements.
I have 26/26 already.

Also, unrelated, Level5 announced their 2013-2014 line up and almost everything is on iOS too, including Layton 7 (calm down, seems crap...not the Layton I would love on iOS).

Wonderflick seems cool tough...expected in November on iOS and later on Vita/PS4/Xbox1.
Free to play, sadly...

Some of the levels are harder than a brickies forhead, exellent though.

So is Asphalt 8 legit awesome or is it like all the other Asphalt games where people say they're awesome but they actually aren't?

Saw this game on TA, it sounds almost too ambitious to be true

Block Clans (GTA x MINECRAFT
http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=201617
They're aiming for a release at the end of September
Currently there are male and female civilians, gangs who patrol each section of the city protecting their territory. Police & swat who react to disturbances: Gang wars, or killing civilians.

We will be posting some video gameplay very soon. Control of your agent character will be in third person perspective with a switch to first person when aiming with weapons; i.e. Sniper to gain long distance aim and kill other gang members.
This can be done from the rooftops of many buildings / skyscrapers around the city.
If you are a strategic player you can play smart, shoot from far, or if you are on a rampage feel free to go into close combat with uzi's, machine guns, pistols and knives.

The city is huge. You can literally spend hours from one side to another. Not to mention all buildings can be entered and explored.

Castaway Paradise will be released in a few months.... in CANADA!

I kinda hoped this was going to be a premium title... Double currencies got repulsive for me a while ago.

Layton 7 looks interesting - it's nice that Level 5 invests so heavily into iOS. Looking forward to this one and anything else they plan for us. Would be nice to see that Yasumi Matsuno game being ported.

i've been playing
blackbar
, the text puzzle game about censorship from 1/2 of the guys who did the incident. apparently, you can finish it in a few hours but i have been stuck on a puzzle for a few days. like it. hope more content soon

Even though it looks like a shameless ripoff - it screams Wind Waker, Phantom Hourglass and Minish Cap at the same time - I am so excited by this. If Nintendo can't provide, I don't mind someone else making a zelda game. Though seriously, even Gameloft is subtler with its "influences"

So in Asphalt 8 you can unlock everything yourself, it just boils down to grind? Can't wait to get it.

Not much on the gameplay front there yet. I remain unconvinced. Been burned too often by beautiful looking iOS games that have next to nil gameplay mechanics apart from walk here tap this walk here swipe walk walk style actions.

Terraria Coming to iOS this Thursday.

I still have my concerns about controls, but screw it, it's Terraria. I'll be there. I must have played close to 100 hours of the PC version.

I never got into the Minecraft/terraria block gameplay. But I heard really good things about terraria, I dunno. I might get it if it's a good port.

True that. I'm not getting my hopes up, will wait for impressions.

Terraria! Is it iPad only or did they make it universal?

Oceanhorn will live and die on people's assumption that it somehow emulates a sort of Wind Waker experience. There's been very little evidence of it thus far though apart from it looking like it, along with a character walking on small islands, riding a boat and placing bombs/button mashing simple enemies.

Show me something akin to an expansive Zelda dungeon and it has my attention.
And Angry Birds Go is not an endless runner. It's a Karting game sponsored by Red Bull and i'm pretty sure they'll add a Bad-Piggy like vehicle creator.

A little heavy on the spray-on tan there Rovio man.

AB Karting could be fun!
