I don't think Sony will announce any new games until well after launch. At least that's the impression I'm getting from the insiders. TGS will again spam us with Killzone, Driveclub, and Knack.

I'm guessing you meant PS3, but even then, HELL NO. I'm really happy that Sony always honors their "10 year support" plans. Gives me faith in the system's future.

Personally, I hate this 10 year crap.
Plus, THEY DONT NEED to debvelop for the system to honor that pledge.
They can let 3rd parties do that for them.
3r4d parties will be making PS3 games for years. Sony does NOT have to do this.
Sony game development should be ALL PS4 and Vita from here on.

They never said 10 years of active development.

Well Microsoft are supporting the 360 with great games like gta5, apparently, or at least that's what they said.
Just do it Sony.
In a few years, Sony can start porting select Vita games to PS3. Gravity Daze, Wipeout, Golden Abyss, KZM....

If TLG is revealed for PS4, we're in for a moment in history on GAF.
Their gonna need to ramp up the visuals if its a ps4 title. Or it will just be something to moan about.

It doesnt have to be the most visually stunning game.
Team ICO games have never been about technical graphical prowess.
They've been about artistic achievement.
If Miyazaki is part of it thats a big point for it even if its not from From Software.

No LBP3. Now LBP is going F2P I doubt it'll be seeing standalone title releases again.
My question as well. As if FFvsXIII wasn't enough.
(I mean, it is better for the game to come out on PS4 than not coming out at all, but still... To many broken promises to be genuinely happy about this if it happens.)
I think even the most optimistic of folks will agree that that simply won't happen. Not a chance.
But this announcement will be nothing exciting. I am not getting disappointed again just like I was during E3/ Gamescom.

Considering that I've had my PS3 since 07, yes. Im looking for every reason I can to close the book on this gen. TLOU is a good enough sendoff, lets move on.
I would say that its more likely to be on PS4 then not.

As much as I would like to agree its not the Sony way. I do hope TLG is a PS3 and PS4 title though. No way it's launch though....that's too much to hope for!

i think there will be some surprises as far as incoming Japanese software support, and i also think that there will be a special 'catch' about the Japanese-produced model for them. i'm sure they'll state how it's good for Japan to have their units made there in the motherland, but there could also be some special pricing for them as well. it would be hard to swallow if they were to announced a MUCH MUCH higher price for just Japan because of it being made there. if they were to only announce the games that the west is already getting but localized for Japan, i don't think there would be many takers, especially if they had to pay a lot more than other regions for the console.
so hopefully it's special pricing + localized western titles + good number of Japanese titles + launch date not too far after western launch.
