I really wish Wind Waker HD released physically during this sale, because I would totally take advantage of it with that game.

Can you exchange games while the promo is still going on? I'm finding it impossible to track Rayman down, which on the bright side means that it moved some copies in the middle of nowhere.

Question? If I buy one $60 and two $20 games will the refund value of each be $26.66? So I could return the two $20 games and get the $60 game for only $26.66?

Hmm, think I'm in for Wonderful 101, Pikmin 3, and hopefully Scribblenauts Unmasked if they have it in stock by today. Don't have a Wii U yet, but planned on getting the Mario Bros. + Luigi bundle when I do so dont need to pick up those two.

Alright I have a question. I'm wanting to get Disney Infinity, Rayman, and TW101. One target near my college has Disney and TW101, and another target about five minutes away has Rayman. If I buy Disney, TW101, and some random game from the first target, can I go to the second target and exchange the random game for a Rayman?

I might not be the best source to trust due to living in Canada, but I work in retail, and I think if you were to buy a 3rd game of the same value as Rayman ($59.99) and leave it in the shrink wrap, you probably wouldn't even need a receipt and should be able to do a straight exchange for it.

No. You would be getting the $60 game for around $47.

How is that calculated? Does that mean the $20 games would have a refund value of $16.50 each? What the percentages used?

I thought it was split in thirds, so each game would be $33.

I already picked up three $60 games. Total was $120 (because lowest game was free) which made each game have a refund value of $40 on the receipt.

If I was to do the b2g1 on a $60 game plus two $20 games the total cost should be $80 (one $20 game being free). If they are actually divided equally it should be $26.66 for each game in refund value right. So I could theoretically return the two twenty dollar games and get the $60 one for only $26.66. Has anyone tried this? I may try later today and she if it works. If it doesn't I'll return everything. If it does I can return my prior purchase. If anyone can shed some light on how Target calculates this deal it will be much appreciated, thanks.

It's a maximum of 33% off only if you buy three games of the same price. The real discount is lowest priced game divided by total of all three games before discount. You should ALWAYS buy three games of the same price since you can return any you don't want in order to get the full 33% off.

i only had nslu when i started playing the wii u on saturday night. i decided to switch over to nsmbu last night and the difference is pretty big. nsmbu is more about exploration and levels take a lot longer. nslu is way more focused on reflexes and there aren't a lot of hidden areas. so far, i'd say nslu makes way better use of the mostly horizontal level design.

Yeah, the focus of each game i entirely different. I wouldn't recommend team play for NSLU, though, at least not until everyone is capable of playing NSMBU and synchronizing well. When I tried it with my buds it was pure pandemonium, we were dying all the time because we got in each other's way. Plus most of my friends aren't really good at platformers.

Just brought home a Wind Waker bundle and Zombi U. I'm probably going to jump on this deal soon, but I haven't been following Wii U game prices at all so I wanted to run my choices by GAF first before picking up anything that might be on sale somewhere else. :p Looking at these 5 games that retail for $60 normally (I think?)...

Wonderful 101
Pikmin 3
Nintendo Land
New Super Mario Bros. U
Rayman Legends

I'm leaning more towards W101, Pikmin, and Nintendo Land since I can always grab Rayman Legends on PC. Sounds good?

I have yet to pick up Rayman, Pikmin, or W101. Could be very tempting as then I'd be back up to owning every Wii U game I want.

And for anyone thinking NSLU, I found it much more enjoyable than NSMBU. I don't know if it's the time limit or no Mario or what but playing it co-op was a blast. I may even like it more than NSMBWii.

nintendo land is going for less than 20 bucks used. NSMBU or rayman are better options at the moment. wii u rayman has the touch screen sections you wouldnt get on pc, too. and bonus levels.

Ah, exactly what I wanted to double check on. I'll poke around for deals on Nintendo Land then... So W101, Pikmin, and Rayman it is!

Thanks to dengatron and Chairhome for the help. :D

I can't confirm for sure, but my friend said he bought Nintendoland for $7 used at Gamestop. Looking at the site, it looks like a used copy is $15, he must have used a 50% off pre-owned promo without knowing.

Rayman Legends on the Wii-U is an absolute blast due to the touch controls. W101, Pikmin and Rayman are great choices.

So interested in this deal, but I'm already plenty occupied with console D3 :( Is there any type of 2 player mode on Rayman/W101/Pikmin? Preferrably co-op story mode or something. Maybe that'll help me decide faster, lol

Nintendo Land is $30 brand new on Amazon. NSMBU is $44, Pikmin 3 is $50 and pretty much everything else is below $50. The only game that is still full price would be TW101. And to be honest, I see that one dropping in price in the next three months.

I never really understand this comment, I constantly get Nintendo games for big discounts. The only difference with Nintendo games is they often don't drop and stay dropped, but they do have good sales on them and get promos often.

Target used to have a $10 off sale on Nintendo-published games every now and then for the Wii, but I haven't seen that in a long while. Where have you found good sales on Nintendo-published games?
