As someone who's fully embracing the digital future, reading jump as is the perfect way for me.

Now if they'd only open up the rest of viz's libary such that I didn't need to use the godawful nook app to buy and own one piece (because I'm sure as hell not sacrificing 60+ novels worth of shelf space for it, One Piece or not) I'd say Viz would be stupid rich PDQ

Hype, finally everyone ready and willing to go for Rank Warz. I hope Mikumo can also use Asteroid, best part of the gunner class, and the Scorpion is perfect for Yuma. Yuma v Yosuke, and Izumi v Mikumo are must fights that are needed.

What US manga really needs is something like a Crunchy Roll Manga, you pay $7.99 per month and you get access not only to all of the most recent chapters but the full back log for any series. Viz's digital magazine is a good start but it's not enough to convince people to switch over when half the series they read aren't in it.

I think you may have the tight idea. My increasing One Piece collection isn't getting any easier to store and buying Magi, Fullmetal Alchemist, Yotsuba and Ultimate Spider-Man only accelerates the problem. I've kind of compromised to only buy digital versions of western comics, but I can't find a suitable solution for manga. And I'd have to get a tablet to make it all readable. An S4 mini simply isn't practical for reading in the long term.

Grab one of the now super cheap Kindle Fire HDs. They are now under 140 for the 7inch version.

Also, Manga really needs something like Comixology, which collects every single publisher (save Dark Horse cause they want to be different) in the same app, with everything for sale day and date with print, and price reductions in a reliable pattern (items drop 50% after 6 months).

I can see something decent in this manga but it's like ... it doesn't want to be here for 20 chapters so it's rushing through all sorts of tropes and stuff at breakneck speed. This is like the most pro-DTL manga ever (maybe?!). Send the main dude to school so he can learn the power of friends! Wait, no, that was a terrible idea (somehow still friends happen anyway!)?! Now probably go and kill your friends though I wager power of friendship saves this one! I don't even know why I care if this friend lives or dies. SLOW DOWN STORY. SLOW DOWN.

I read 6 chapters but I think the direction of the plot changed several times. Not sure if it's a really long drawn out prologue situation or a massively sped up setup arc. Or both.

Nanatsu no Taizai - 48

While I am immensely enjoying this manga (it's among the top of my manga that's currently serialized), I'm not so keen on the bizarre power levels.

Admittedly, I was curious to see what would otherwise be "end-game" characters appearing in the first couple of chapters. It's always fun to see overpowered protagonists running around and rampaging rather than having to deal with a series of power-up and training shenanigans.

However, seeing a berserker Melodias taken out in one hit just doesn't seem right... It seems to me that the author is on speed-dial, where events that should be occurring way later in the manga are happening now. Don't get me wrong, it makes for a very fun read; but it doesn't leave room for long manga, either (e.g. Kongou).

Yeah, everything in this manga is just so damn broken it's hard to keep up with the scale. That said I don't really have a real problem with this chapter, sure Melodias got his ass kicked but I'm pretty sure he didn't have or use all of his power (probably not even close) and his opponent did need the combined power of a ton of holy knights to achieve that.

Well, yes, but it's more that the one main Holy Knight showed up and that was enough power to one-shot him. The rest of them weren't enough to keep up with him.

Though I also do agree that it's probably not even close to his final form etc. etc.

Edit: And considering his normal personality, I'd wager the way he was fighting was more trying to match his power to the dude he was against (+ the rest of the Holy Knights channeling power to him) and the sudden spike was a "surprise hit."

He crammed so much txt in the chapter that he might as well have just done two extra ones. The Bulma, Tights, Brief reveal was way too wordy for example and then the sky gold stuff as well. Though it was an alright closing. I thought Jaco would have at least ran into Goku but I guess somehow they couldnt hear the Kaboom. Oh well. Go Go Rocket Rocket Go will be memorable.

Chapter seemed really rushed and packed, but a necessary evil to preserve the surprise. As this is now cononical in the Dragon Ball universe, wouldn't be shocked to see it animated as a special at some point.

Well sadly back to being boring. The opening Raku one eye closed was the only memorable part for me.

Somehow failed to read it when everyone else did but it could have been better. Law beat down is just strange, but at least storytelling time sounds compelling if more detail about the 800 years and creators can be told.

What was that manga in jump that ran for only 5 chapters but was totally bad ass where the guy had some demon mark but in the end we found out it was his little sister who was really the demon?

Kenshiro still hasn't named the 65th successor to the Hotoku Shinken. It looks like he has let Roahs son Ryu lead a peaceful life and he never banged Miyame

Well that NEET had some pretty awful things to say but Saitama ought to have done otherwise and took some credit. But as long as Genos knows the truth and is willing to continue to pledge his undying support, and Speed o Sound Sonic knowing who truly is strong, then it probably doesnt matter what everyone else says. Alright ending.
