Win 8 has to be a pain in the ass every step of the way for every game I run, doesn't it?

Episodes for Liberty City completely blank screen, have to sign out to even get back to the desktop to retry things on it.

Gonna try disabling GfWL on it and see if that works, doubt it will. Running GTA4 in Vista compatibility and admin rights seems to have fixed that but Ballad of Gay Tony/Lost and Damned? No go. :/

This problem was solved, but, uh, there's another game that WB is fighting another publisher over, apparently.

I was told Warner Bros gained the F.E.A.R. I.P when they acquired Monolith Productions. Currently they publish the first title after the original deal with Vivendi ceased.

Nah, not right away; there was this whole kerfluff about Project Origin being a new fancy name for FEAR, and FEAR getting rebooted entirely AS Project Origin... and then they tweaked things when they got the rights, hence the really ODD story that doesn't quite feel like a sequel.

It's fine, relatively speaking. BO2 MP peaked at 32k on launch day (see here).

Edit: That 100k concurrent number is bollocks as far as Steam is concerned: even including the Zombies and SP apps, the game as whole peaked at ~58k on launch day.

Edit edit: Christ, it's a pain in the arse to change the dates on that site. Here are the peak figures for each BO2 app as reported within the window of November 12th to November 13th:

- Black Ops 2 MP: 31,098
- Black Ops 2 Zombies: 3,872
- Black Ops 2 SP: 12,983
= 47,953

Ghosts MP's 35k is fine.

Apparently there were some issues with the Mac port that he finally got around to, Linux is new though.



You are supposed to use an Xinput wrapper I believe, there is a guide on GAF. I don't have a DS3 controller so not 100% knowledgeable.

Or just fuck it, and trade the controller for a copy of FEAR 2.
