That ghost feature seems awesome in this game.

The same way 3D World does plenty of things 3D Land and other Mario games didn't. It's just that Galaxy 2 wasn't by any means a revolution like 64 or Galaxy, it was a direct sequel with some new ideas, and yet it doesn't get penalized for it.

It was a debut trailer. All of the stuff in that trailer is still in the game and it effectively showed what kind of game it would be without giving everything away.

It's one thing to be disappointed by the first trailer, but the negativity it garnered was super hyperbolic. The trailers that came after were much better, obviously, but the first trailer wasn't bad.

He's also wanted Luigi to be playable alongside Mario since Mario 64 and is the reason Luigi has been regularly appearing as a secret character in the 3D games.
