I'm trying to convince myself of a reason why not to go all digital but that's getting increasingly difficult when I see stuff like this. Just pulling out your phone, tapping one of your pinned games and boom, there you are.

That's a next gen feature to me.

Amazon on twitter says it's Day One.

Ok, and with the way this works...and bear with me for this...

If a "buy" option comes up, and I click it, is that unit reserved for a short period of time while I'm entering my information or can someone snatch it away from me while I'm trying to purchase it?

I agree. If digital prices become reasonable and see more price drops and sales to match other digital stores, then I'd be all in on digital. I would prefer to install the game off a disc and then purchase a digital license to just be able to play it whenever without a disc but I'll have to wait for Redbox to start carrying Xbox One games.

I thought this twitch stuff is delayed for Xbox One how are folks playing Xbox One games and showing on Twitch?

The same way they did it with the 360 and PS3, a capture card and a computer.

Nothing is held until your order goes through, item can sell out after putting in cart before you complete your order details

If it's like amazons black friday sales then the item is reserved for you for a few mins while you pay, best to get an account and payment set up before if you can to save time.

I think that only holds true for lightning deals, which would include black Friday deals. Since this is a regular item I don't think it applies

Quick question maybe someone can help me with, as far as I can tell there is no micro usb that comes with the console right?

also does the controller get power from a micro usb instead of batteries if you plug it in?

No cable with the console and yes if you do plug it in with a micro usb cable since it becomes a wired controller essentially. Any micro usb cable should work.

That would certainly nice. That was a feature that was lost with all of the 180's, yes?

Had a tremendous loss in the family today to a heart attack. So, it kinda puts my xbox one far lower on the priorities list now that we need to plan a funeral.

Sorry to hear this. Stay strong.

The best advice you could take is to signup for one-click purchasing. If this is as limited as it seems, having the ability to bypass all the pages prior to completing your purchase would increase your odds of snagging it.

Guess I'll just have to take my chances

Yea, unfortunately.

I posted earlier in thread to no avail, but will it be to hard to find a non preorder console at say a Best Buy on Friday?

From what I'm hearing, you might be able to find a green box, but no Day One Editions. Supplies seem a little tight for the Xbox One right now.

Also, and again sorry for all the stupid questions, can I cancel a 1-click purchase a few minutes after making it?

I was planning on calling my girlfriend and having her try to do this as well so hopefully one of us would get it and if we both do cancel that order immediately.

Go into Your Account in the "Hello, [Your Name]" drop menu. Once there, Ctrl-F "1-click". It'll be to the right of the menu labeled "Settings". It's pretty easy from there. Good luck tomorrow.
