Elder Scrolls Online Beta sign up

Just a heads up guys, this game is currently in a very bad state. Check it out if you want you may enjoy it, but the people in charge of it right now are absolutely clueless when it comes to MMO's. The only recently started working on the level 30+ areas. There is a reason why they have refused to show any in-game footage... Compare that to the guys over at Carbine, yeah.

Seems to only be PC/PS4/XB1/Mac on that page. Never was announced for 360 and one of the worst things you can do for a still upcoming MMO is hobble it with last gen hardware. At least FFXIV:ARR has the excuse of replacing a game that was supposed to come out on PS3 at a relatively reasonable time for a last gen MMO.

How do you communicate in a console mmo? I am assuming there are no chat channels. How did it work on EQOA back in the day?

Uhh where are you getting that information from? As far as I know that is most likely NOT what BGS is working on right now.

Everything supports USB and bluetooth, they'd just support keyboards that way. Hell, PS2 had USB keyboard support itself, so that'd probably have been how in EQ PS2.

Though with the console walls maybe they'll actually have voice chat for each platform. I'd rather they just canned XB1 and went fully connected with PS4/PC/Mac, but maybe they also had the other plan of not letting consoles hold back PCs in the long run just in case this takes off.

Ya, got the email, started downloading it after I got home, went to check gaf and behold others getting an invitation. Seems good enough to be worthy of a try(curious to see how they deal with the lore of the series).

Wonder how big this beta is going to be. Hopefully they let a good amount of people in, get it as stressed as possible.

In as well. This is my third round of the beta with ESO. Not bad, I've enjoyed it for what it is, however I'm definitely more excited for EQN. Wildstar was also interesting at PAX, very ratchet and clank esque. That being said I'll probably end up playing ESO if there are no other new MMO's available this spring.

Love the weekend-only betas because I work all weekend, they're definitely my favorite.

I signed up for the first round or whatever they did way back when. but the news since then makes me really feel like this game is dead on arrival.

maybe i'll sign up for the beta again, for shits n giggles

I've got my key earlier today. I had completely forgotten I signed up for this beta so I was a bit surprised. Since I've got nothing better to do, I'm signed up and ready for the Friday PC Beta test though I wish I had signed up for the PS4 ver.

I got in and I've finished downloading it. Ready for the weekend I guess. I'll probably only play it for a few hours and get bored. Oh well.

Signed up ages ago, didn't get a key though ): Pretty interested to test it though, maybe they'll find a way to spice things up or i'll shed a tear as they fall down the same MMO pitfall that every MMO for the past few years have been in.

How do you even get chosen? I signed up AGES ago and got an Excellent rating.. (I think I signed up when the application first signed up) meh if anyone has a key they'd like to give away to a random internet stranger you know where you can find me.
