Sadly the only thing running around in my mind right now is how this might turn out to be incredibly trolly. Are they approaching Capcpom levels yet?
Like, I would hate for this to be a weird mobile game or something else, but at the same time, it would then be one less game for me to play. I'm conflicted about not being able to sleep for days.

I personally wouldn't want that....Who am I kidding? I'll take anything Atlus Persona gives me even if they forced me to eat Hákarl every hour of gameplay.

I mean it's not a mobile title, but that's not to say that there will not be future mobile titles spawned from it.

After all these years, some people want a bit of a visual upgrade. That and it's not coming to 3DS.
It could, but wouldn't count out PlayStation systems. I feel so sure I can go into nearly any sort of bet that it'll be coming to a Sony system(not sexual or monetary(if it's kept under $100 then sure)) but teasing it at Ps Dengiki and then not bothering with the system?

If it looks like Catherine, that's fine. I imagine it will look a bit better than that though, since they bothered to make their own engine.
Likewise. Not because I don't like the platform (I want one) but because it would mean that it would be next to impossible for me to get it in a reasonable time frame with the amount of money I usually have. I just got a PS3 two months ago ffs!
The wait for the reveal it's going to seriously kill me.

Well its not bad, but it just, I want to see more of Atlus HD experience, to see more of their ambitious self. I'll buy it if it ends up with 3DS, but of course massive disappointment follow.

My feelings exactly. As you, I am new to the PS3 and I have no idea when I will have enough money to buy a PS4, so Persona 5 being a next gen exclusive title would certainly kill me a bit inside.
So I just noticed that on the mobile version of the teaser site, the 3 squares actually are 3 horizontal rectangles, which could look like labels. Like, 3 announcements, really.
I know it doesn't mean anything, it doesn't help, but hum... yeah, grasping at straws. At least it kinda rules out the "slots" theory.

I like my 3DS but is a mediocre console. I want my Persona shine!
In term of research for all of those demons? Highly ambitious of course. Graphical fidelity? Yes it is not, though the UI is one of the best I've seen so far for any games.

It's a relatively expansive title that managed to fit into the space restrictions they had. Contrast with something like Catherine, which was a relatively simple game designed to be a test run. I would consider SMT4 a far more ambitious project than Catherine. But it's cool to have different viewpoints/interpretations of things, it's what makes the human experience interesting

Its not going to be a PS4 exclusive lol. It will be on PS3.
Add to that poor speakers, poor audio compression (even with headphones) and the lack of a 2nd joystick.
This has basically been shot down by Atlus at this point.

Isn't it apples to oranges though? Them localizing Conception 2 doesn't say anything about a potential new Trauma game?
To be honest, it's a franchise that could make actual sense on mobile/tablets.

I adore my 3DS. Bravely Default is my most anticipated (curently announced ;p) game. But I'm not blinded to its shortcomings like many on this forum seem to be. Chief among them being the horrendous screen and uncomfortable design. I play my handhelds mostly at home, so battery life is less of a thing for me, but I can understand that bothering people.
Me and you both. I've decided it's Persona 5. If it isn't, I think I'll just preorder Bravely Default and be done with keeping track of games for a while.
